Azul! Fritz and I.M. and Wes and I have been bouncing around the idea of scheduling a regular monthly meeting at Napoleon's. Fritz suggests that it be called "Immigration Day" to encourage visitors to join Talossa, and also so that possible prospectives from the Greater Talossan Area can have a designated time and place to come meet real, live Talossans. Food, of course, will be part of the arrangement. Another possibility would be to do it on the third Sunday of every month, to do a Living Cosâ every month. All Talossans (past, present, and future) will be invited to the meeting. A possible time would be 11 o'clock or 12 o'clock on Sundays. Geoff Toumayan doesn't work till the later afternoon so he might be able to make it as well. Football season will conflict with this, of course, but we will see how it goes during the off-season. (You can't rob Wisconsinites of their Packer football!) Having it on a regular basis (the first Sunday of each month?) would facilitate getting the word out to people. This looks like a great idea; a great way to promote Talossan camaraderie as well as showcase Napoleon's as the emerging central hub of Talossanity worldwide. What do y'all think? Oh yes, one more thing: The inaugural meeting should feature the official raising of the RT national flag. In a couple of days I will have my copy of the flag back from the art gallery in England, along with the CD of the university choir singing "Stand Tall, Talossans!" Ben

Monthly meetings are an excellent idea; although if they are to become formal events I would appreciate a way for citizens who are unable to be physically present to participate. There are many ways for this to be done; whether through conference calls or various chat programs online.
More open communication and debate will only help Talossa. The Black Hand (MN) is firmly committed to this principle!
Vote MN!
By the way, I would love pictures of the flag raising!

Excellent suggestions, Márcüs! As for real-time interaction, I don't know if Napoleon's has multiple phone lines (I'll be visiting later today and I'll ask) but that would be an excellent idea. Another possibility: There is a dedicated internet line at the store so we could do real-time interaction on Wittenberg to and from the store, though this would not be as efficient. > By the way, I would love pictures of the flag raising! If all goes according to plan this afternoon, there will be a "preliminary" flag raising today. The "formal" flag raising will be scheduled at the time of the first weekly meeting/Immigration Day festivity. (I'm leaning more and more toward calling it "Immigration Day," I'm not sure what authority is needed to give it an official title. A PD perhaps?) Expect pictures of both. Ben

Great, let me know what arrangements can be made. I think a Royal Decree would suffice for declaring a new holiday.
