Florencia Packer defensive great REGGIE WHITE died early Sunday morning. It was shocking, he's only 43 years old and there was no knowledge of any health conditions that would lead to a sudden demise. An autopsy is yet to be performed, but it was apparently a heart attack or something to do with a respiratory ailment. Wow. A little scary.
Anyway, he was the premier defensive star on the famed Packer team (NFL) of the late '90s that went to two Superbowls, winning one of them, the team's first since the late '60s!
He was a great man on and off the field. So long, Reggie, ol' number 92, and thank you for the memories!!

Yeah, this one was quite a shock--it was fitting that Reggie would pass away on the most important day of his life, for two reasons: Sunday. Amy and I were talking about how this would have affected the mood of the Packers if they had been playing Minnesota this Sunday rather than Christmas Eve, and concluded they just would have been even more fired up to beat the luckless Vikings! Despite his goofy social-conservative positions (which, I'm told, he came to regret and realized they were the biggest mistake of his life), Reggie White will be dearly missed by the people of Wisconsin (and, yes, Philadelphia). Put him on this year's Packers and they would be absolutely unstoppable. The prayers of the Royal Family go out to his family. > Wow, a little scary. Yep, seeing as how Talossa's Founding Fathers aren't much older than he was. Ben
