The Political Party Renaming Act of 2008 WHEREAS Talossa was born once, and that is plenty, and WHEREAS that birth, in 1979, was many centuries after the period known as the Renaissance, and WHEREAS there's no evidence that any of the members of the LRT political party have taken to wearing doublets and hose OR floppy feathered hats, and WHEREAS neither have any such persons contributed any great frescoes or ceiling art, and WHEREAS despite the LRT's fondness for handing out titles and jobs to their members, not a one of them has become a troubadour or minstrel, now THEREFORE the Ziu instructs that the Chancery not accept in the future any registration for any party having a name containing the word Renaixença, and instructs the Secretary of State to permanently change the active registration for the political party currently known as La Renaixença Talossan as follows: in the tradition of other organisations that have abandoned the original derivation of their acronyms, the party shall heretofore be known simply by the letters KFC. I will be taking this to the Cort. As I speak, I am wearing hose and am playing a fiddle.
Hooligan yet again is proven a liar and a cheat, like his ancestors before him.

I will be taking this to the Cort. As I speak, I am wearing hose and am playing a fiddle. The Cort will expect any cases filed by KFC (formerly LRT, assuming the bill passes) members to use 15th-17th century forms of common-law pleadings, as befits their old name. Based on their new name, however, minor technical defects in the pleadings will be excused as long as their legal arguments are finger-lickin' good.

presumably you're looking at:
How happy would I estimate myself, Could I by any means retire my son, From one vain course of study he affects! He is a scholar (if a man may trust The liberal voice of a double-tongued report) Of dear account, in all our Academies.

I'm not V, but I still support this wonderful and (in my opinion) very necessary act.
