I don't know if this is actually allowed, but I'd kinda like to introduce an idea for a bill which would say that on certain days of the year only Talossan is allowed on Wittenberg. I think that this would help phase in Talossan as the default language of Talossans. What do you guys think?

Am I allowed to write up a bill here in the hopper and have a member of the Ziu introduce it for me?
Also, I think that we should have certain members of the public to act as teachers of el gleþ so that the citizenry may better learn it. Online Lessons are good. Teachers are better.

Being a potential new immigrant, I would definitely be interested in signing up for Talossan language lessons.

WHEREAS Talossan is an awesome language and
WHEREAS we should try to phase it into Wittenberg as the default language and
WHEREAS not enough people speak it, mainly because there is not real inscentive
THEREFORE, I declare that:
1. A Talossan language day shall be created which would be a day where only Talossan would be spoken 2. That a Talossan fluency test be made, and a prize for a score over 85% be founded

No, you cannot offer laws until you become a member of the Ziu. Draft bills are proposed by members of the Senäts and the Cosâ. Debate and discussion on proposals does not take place during the 21-day session of the legislature in which the bill is considered and legislative approval sought; instead, debate takes place during prior sessions. Draft bills are therefore circulated by their sponsor during these prior sessions for debate and comment in both houses of the Ziu. When a sponsoring legislator feels that his proposal is "ready to Clark," he formally submits the final draft of his bill to the Secretary of State, appending a specific Talossan language phrase indicating his intention. The bill will then appear on the calendar of the subsequent session, for consideration by both houses of the Ziu. The Secretary of State is obliged to accept all submissions made on or before the 21st day of a month, and may accept later submissions at his own discretion. Bills initiating expense from the Royal Treasury must be sponsored and submitted by a Member of the Cosâ. PLEASE READ : www.kingdomoftalossa.net/index.cgi?lingo=&page=Law

Contact a sitting member of the Ziu, work on a proper draft, and have them introduce it for you.

Language Day is an existing holiday. It's on 12 December, the date on which the language was first used (in 1980).

Or, how about like every weekend, people can only use Talossán on Wittenberg. I'm going to start using that rule for myself I think.

This thread has drifted, and should be continued in the Chat Room or Wittenberg, please. Each thread in the hopper should begin with the posting, by a member of the Ziu, of a draft act of legislation, and be followed by postings which debate this act as proposed.
