Without using all the courtly jargon I would like to propose Sir Ian Meiteria (spelling it as best I can) for the Throne. Ian is currently our Senior Justice on the Supreme Court and I believe the longest serving Talossan, second only to the former King Ben. He is someone we all know and admire, who could act as historian as well since he was around for everything. On the up side, by choosing him we won't lose the finest Secretary of State this Kingdom has ever had. I know I did not discuss this with you JJ but your the right man for this job at this time. Please don't refuse.

The Big, Huge Bird Man for King?
Yes!
Sir Fritz has rolled the biggest, oldest log into the stream for consideration.
Now, I know how I'm voting on the King thing.

Ah, yes! I can stand for Sir Ian Metairia. The oldest, biggest, most historically correct log is in the stream.
No pomp is even necessary on this one.

What? Another John? (Even if in Talossan) I thought you wanted a Richard. See below.
More seriously though, I remember when this was mentioned while the matter of King Louis' abdication was still in the workings, and Duke Metairia said he would not want to be king. Has he since changed his mind? If I get to it, I will look up the quote.

Our history is important and this would be a proper way to go. Please accept!
