WHEREAS Regent Doctor Greg Rajala has nominated Baron Quedéir Castiglhâ to the Cort pü Înalt to replace retiring Justice Count Danihel Lauriéir, and;

WHEREAS Lord Quedéir Castiglhâ, Baron of Talossa is a loyal subject of His Majesty King Louis the First, and;

WHEREAS Quedéir Castiglhâ is a lot to type so for the purpose of this legislation we'll just call him Baron Q, and;

WHEREAS Captain Mayday has called for a bill in the Hopper ratifying Baron Q's appointment, and;

WHEREAS that is indeed the purpose of this bill, and;

WHEREAS that somewhat consumptive gentleman has called for someone to "flesh that out a little", and;

WHEREAS the flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing, and;

WHEREAS the sharing of a few facts about Baron Q is in order to "flesh that out a little", and;

WHEREAS Baron Q is into heavy metal, and;

WHEREAS by heavy metal we mean the 33 feet of brass tubing needed to create a tuba, and;

WHEREAS Baron Q is the only Talossan with enough marching band experience to to be useful for playing "Tusk", and;

WHEREAS the Fleetwood Mac song "Tusk" is one of the top Canziuns Pätriôtici for the Kingdom, and;

WHEREAS why don't you ask him who's the latest on his throne, and;

WHEREAS Q's just a poor boy, don't need no sympathy, because he's easy come, easy go, a little high, little low, and;

WHEREAS anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, and;

WHEREAS speaking of the wind blowing, Baron Q comes from from Kansas, and;

WHEREAS Kansas is the only state in the Union that has been scientifically proven to to be flatter than a pancake, and;

WHEREAS many Talossans keep a special place in our hearts for Kansas, and;

WHEREAS all kidding aside, many Talossans keep a special place in our hearts for Baron Q, and;

WHEREAS anyone with a Lego Moses with tablets as his avatar deserves to be a lawgiver on the Cort pü Înalt, and;

WHEREAS Q got nominated.

THEREFORE the Ziu ratifies the nomination of Lod Quedéir Castiglhâ, Baron of Talossa to the Cort pü Înalt, and urges him to take a seat with the other two Justices as soon as practical.

I support Baron Q in a new role as member of the Cort, however, I beg to differ on the quoted statement. "Back in the day" I was a member of the state champion marching band in Colorado, which was in the top 3 the other two years I was in Boulder High School, a band that appeared on the front page of the Miami Herald when we travelled to Florida for the Orange Bowl Parade. I also worked two summers for Drum Corps International when the championships were held in Denver. I feel confident with minimal preparation (as I currently do not own either instrument) that I could indeed play the melodic backbeat line of "Tusk" on either a Sousaphone or a Bass Clarinet.

It would be a bit clunky on the brass (especially the grace notes), but definitely doable on a reed
