Azul!
Just got an enthusiastic e-mail from Robert Blackson, curator of the Reg Vardy Gallery at the University of Sunderland in England, where a large presentation is underway of non-recognized nations such as Talossa. I have been a part of this presentation for several months, and several volumes of the hand-written and photocopied Støtanneu and other Talossan artifacts are on display at the gallery.
He writes:
Dear Ben,
The show opening went really well. Talossa fit in great. Talossa’s first flag was presented along with eight other flags in the doorway to the gallery and your national anthem – both in your voice and with the church choir was played along with five other national anthems including Redonda, Sealand, and KREV. Your notebooks were also displayed and the your citizenship application forms are almost all gone. About 150 people came to the opening and the show continues to be very popular with local press. I will send you copies of these articles at the end of the show, along with the documents that you lent to the exhibition.
Thanks again Ben, Best, Rob
So it all sounds like it is going very well. As mentioned, a Talossan flag was among the artifacts on display! :-)
Ben

Great news! Has there been any word on when copies of the CD with the choir singing "Stand Tall Talossans" will be available?

I presume the CD will be available after the show is over, which as I recall will be this month or next. I was thrilled to hear they'd actually gone ahead with the choral recording--I just hope they get the word glheþ pronounced correctly. Ben
