The last outstanding item of business currently under discussion by the CÚG is the Great Vowel and Stress Proposal (GV&SP), a major refinement of the vowel and stress proposals originally made by King John as part of his Modest Proposals for Spelling Reform. King John's latest full version of the GV&SP is now online here. |

After the GV&SP was posted to the CÚG mailing list for discussion, I compiled my thoughts in another Word document. My original comments are here. King John prepared a comprehensive reply to my comments, which is available here. I finally got around to preparing a responses for the next round of discussion. I broke my latest comments up by topic and will be posting them separately. |
