With great pride I announce to the nation my new Talossan name:
Rôibeard Márcüs Cantaloûr
I wrote out the various suggestions for my last name, and I must agree with Ben and Xhorxh that Cantaloûr looked the best with my full name.
I will still be using my English name, while introducing my Talossan name slowly. Eventually, I would like to see my Talossan name as the only name used; but I realize that it will take time for people to become accustomed to my new name.

Azul, S:r Cantaloûr!
My suggestion would be to go over to the Talossan name quickly, as I'm not sure these long-term transitions make it any easier for people to adapt to. Ben

Okay, but who were you originally?
It's getting to the point where a body needs a damn scorecard.
Use the 'private message' function to reply to this....
Gary
(who is TOO Talossan to have a Talossan name :-) ) (but is rapidly reconsidering)

This is a valid point.
Perhaps a quick biographical page would be in order--that way we could look up a Talossan name (e.g. Ián Metáiriâ) and see "Oh yeah, he's the guy who set up the TNP and was Prime Minister in the early 90's and re-energized Talossa and all that." At least then people familiar with RT history would be able to attach an identity to the name.
As I proposed somewhere else, I think we should all be brainstorming on "name issues" this month, so we can get a bill on the December Clark that will comprehensively treat all these issues.
