Were there to be a new "Dark Side of the Moon" or perhaps "Obscurum Luna" territory, how would the college of arms describe the following in terms of heralic language for a flag or other territorial seal? something like "a prism proper splitting light from argent sinister to rainbow dexter on a field sable" or some such jargon? XPB Hmm, it'd probably be something pretty close to that, although I haven't found any examples of heraldic prisms. I'll note, however, that the "dark side of the Moon" is simply the whatever side faces away from the Sun at any particular point in time, and is not the same as the "far side of the Moon" (the side perpetually facing away from the Earth), Pink Floyd notwithstanding. In fact, the far side is ever-so-slightly brighter, on average, than the side facing the Earth, because it never has solar eclipses.
