oops I'm sorry Highness....
I'm Al Keller, I applied for citizenship and had to wait until I had access to a scanner to get my license scanned and sent to you guys...and now I'm reading Ar Patz and waiting for the Civics Test.

> I'm Al Keller Zooks! Cool--I have to confess (mea culpa) I'd almost forgotten about you. Great to see you back. I assume Mark Hamilton has a copy of the Civics Test--although, technically, you don't have to do it until a year after your naturalization (we changed the immigration law last month). So, Mark, if you're reading this, feel free to propose Al as a citizen for next month's Clark, and let's get the ball rolling! As for you, Al, welcome aboard. If you're more comfortable doing the civics test before your bill goes up for a vote, that's fine, there's nothing stopping you from going the old-fashioned route. Is your Essay up online somewhere for us to read? Thanks, and welcome to Talossa! Ben (a.k.a. King Robert, and several other titles)

Thanks for the reminder, Al! I misspoke in my last post to you... I got the details wrong in the immigration law which I wrote. Under the new immigration law, it is the responsibility of the Minister for Immigration, Mark Hamilton, to make a choice based on your contributions and participation, whether to admit you to citizenship or not, once you have submitted the minimum required materials. And, I believe, you have already submitted those materials. (Have you sent him proof of I.D.?) That being the case, the ball is now in the Immigration Minister's court. You do not need to wait for a vote in the Ziu. Once he signs your papers (so to speak), you will be just as much a Talossan as me or anybody else here! I hope you're in touch with Mark over this. As the only Talossan who never had to get anybody else's permission to join Talossa, I can't imagine what pins and needles you must be sitting on, waiting. If it's not too premature, let me say, welcome aboard! Ben
