On this day 39 years ago, King Ben created our national language, the Talossan language. À'ceastă ziuă ja 39 års, Regeu Ben creava ár glheþ naziunal, el glheþ Talossan. A c'dayeu pri 39 yeareux, Kingeu Ben haveu facescu l'lingeu naçãol noastra, l'lingeu d'Talossa.
Therefore I, the newly appointed benevolent dictator of SIGN, thought it was fitting to officially promulgate a new Provisional Orthography for use in Government work and bigger projects that would benefit from a common standard. Note that this standard is to be replaced by something more permanent and less dictator-y in the future, after SIGN has officially formed and my benevolent dictatorship ends.
I'd also like to announce that we are currently working on a Talossan translation of New Witt (for an especially immersive Ladintsch experience), and there are plans to update talossan.com and L'Översteir as they haven't been properly updated since, what, 2012? Both of them have been tremendously helpful tools for new learners in the past, in fact I learnt Talossan by reading through the grammar pages and experimenting with L'Översteir, so it'd be unfortunate if future new learners were to be confronted by outdated and sometimes flat out wrong info on our noble tongue.
I think it's safe to say that the era of lethargy is slowly but surely coming to an end. Stay tuned.
I wish everyone a happy Llimbaziuă! ¡Cheréu 'n feliciă Llimbaziuă à thoct! Lleu wisheu 'n happyeu Dayeu d'l'Lingeu a alleux!
(And yes, the text in italics is written in the earliest attested form of Talossan. We've truly come a long way since 1980...)

So there's more umlauts and things now? Å and Ă (which is technically still optional) are back now, but even then that not much has changed; Ă was technically already reintroduced in the 2012 Arestadă (which is why they show up in the Prüms Päçen PDFs).
