"Only 1 response (2.6%) said that the use of Talossan had a negative effect on their participation, while 18 responses (47.3%) said that it increased their interest. This seems to be a clear vote of confidence in the Government’s policy of glheþinaziun."

Is it possible to filter the results according to how often the respondent checks Wittenberg?

"Restoring the requirement from pre-2005 Talossa that new citizens have to pass a “civics test” on basic facts about the Kingdom to gain citizenship. While this might seem onerous for newcomers, it would create an incentive for existing citizens not only to provide such information for newcomers, but to make sure it is actually assimilated/understood."
This so much. It's been proven not once that, in general, the more obstacles for getting into a community there are (if they are still possible to overcome and reasonable), the more incentive there is to stay in that community and participate actively, and seek staying in it. The communities are more tightly knit if they aren't "free to enter+free to leave".

Open a new national discussion on how to improve the tone of debate. The real problem is that almost everyone in Talossa blames someone else for rudeness/provocative behaviour/disrespect, and considers what they themselves do to be perfectly harmless. Can there be any “objective standard” for rude, toxic or nasty debate? Definitely a problem, if we allow free speech. (Which we certainly do, and should.) Things like your Cabinet Rules of Conduct are a step in the right direction, but all that means is that people who insist on violating your standards can't be in the Cabinet. Wittiquette was meant to handle some of this, but any time abusive language is dealt with in any stronger way than simply saying "Dont' talk that way, or else I'll tell you Don't talk that way", the Witt Admin is treated like he's just half a step on the far side of Genghis Khan. (I was actually, and apparently seriously, equated with Stalin!, for briefly suspending a Witt account.) A List of Forbidden Words would probably be inOrganic, and nobody would know which words were on it since it couldn't be posted. So I don't know; but it's clearly a problem. — John R

Is it possible to filter the results according to how often the respondent checks Wittenberg? No, sorry. Limitations of a free SurveyMonkey account.

Even Google forms will let you download a spreadsheet with the data in it. It would be nice to know what is the most important to people who are not on Witt much, since the people who are on Witt can let everyone know what they think whenever they want. Still a lot of good data here though.

A late response came in, thought you might like to see that: Another one for the "Reunision was a mistake" files.
