Street address: 2125 W. Juneau
I-94 west: Approaching from Downtown, exit 22nd street. Proceed straight across frontage road (Clybourn) at light, turn left at "T" intersection (Michigan). Turn right on 23rd, proceed until Highland Ave (a divided boulevard). Turn left, see 'From Highland' for rest of instruction.
I-94 east: Approaching from Miller Park, exit 26th street (be careful, the exit is abrupt, curves sharply, and is not very well marked). Proceed across on 26th or 27th (27th is a main street with stoplights, versus the residential 26th. 27th is often congested, however, and is better only if the cross streets, like Wisconsin Ave, are themselves congested, not likely on a Sunday) to Highland Ave. (divided boulevard). Turn left.
From Highland: turn North on 22nd (high school to your left), go one block. This is Juneau. Turn left, look for parking. Gently Manor is the brown-and-yellow house separated from the corner house by an empty lot.
Following city streets, Highland and State are the best accesses from south and due east, Walnut/Lisbon and Vliet from the north and northwest.
From downtown's theater district, i.e. Water Street, the former Park East freeway (now a divided boulevard) feeds into Walnut (the overpass was *not* removed). From Water Street, Juneau (after passing the former Pabst brewery) feeds into Vliet after crossing over I-43.
Coming north on I-43 (instead of west on I-94) from downtown is an option, exit Fon Du Lac, turn onto Walnut.
The Fon Du Lac exit also works for coming south on I-43 from points due north of Downtown.
From Walnut or Vliet, the only streets that go through (due to neighborhood traffic control measures) are 20th and 24th streets. Walnut becomes Lisbon Ave. and veers more northwesterly starting around 24th.
For various reasons, no single steet goes all the way through north-to-south from Wisconsin to Vliet between 18th and 23rd, so some zigzagging will probably be needed.
Marquette-interchange-upgrade-related road construction has removed 16th street from any and all consideration.
Hope this helps!
