The term 'Clarkives' was coined sometime ca. 1997-1999, though by whom, I don't know. I can now tell you that with the safe uploading of a full set of Clark archives for September 2018, the 'Clarkives' are up and running.

I spent today and yesterday putting together a workflow whereby the Scribe of Abbavilla may, each month, create primary-source archives of Clark bills and results in such a way, once all Clarks are so archived, there will be no longer a dependence on the continued running of the Talossa Database System or the Wayback Machine.

The above is the start of a full listing of all primary-source documents for each and every Clark. Lüc da Schir has been a great help on this and continues to be. With every new Clark, and with the finding of more URLs for old Clarks as well as links to the Database, this document will be ever-evolving and will eventually be split into separate volumes.

This is the document wherein is contained instructions (to myself, mainly) as to filename and cataloging conventions of the digital holdings of the Talossan Royal Archives. Herein may be found the system whereby I have come up with the horribly-long, but necessary, filenames for all the documents.
For September 2018, I have created and have uploaded to DropBox the following:

b = bills
Tds = Talossa Database System
CosaV = Cosa Voting
Ra = Results and assent (or veto)
r = results
SenV = Senäts Voting
FF = Firefox
Everything should be self-explanatory.
I cannot tell you all how thrilled I am to have put this together. This set of files will be iterated on a bit, perhaps, but this should give you a really good idea as to what the Clarkives (the digital archives of the Clark) will be going forward.
In time, I will create a set of instructions that anyone will be able to follow once my time as Scribe is done, (not for a few years - don't worry). In time, though, I will delegate this and other Scribe jobs to deputies from time to time such that no single person will have to bear the full burden of the Scribery, which compared to the SoS is nothing at all, but is still a chore that for the good functioning of the Kingdom must be tended to constantly.
This is only the beginning of the long and slow process of bringing our records together, and by all means this is a part of the 42 Project and a culmination of everything I've done so far since becoming Scribe. Again, though, without further iteration, none of this means anything, and once John acts on the October Clark, I will be able to Clarkive all that stuff, too.
