Talossan Coronation The Coronation of a King of Talossa at the Park on La Mar Talossan Called 'Coronation Park'
Chanting birds announce the august occasion: Ring-billed gulls, American robins, whimbrels, Piping plovers, Canada geese and curlews singing "Talossa!"
Monarchs past were crowned in this park in splendour: after slowly crossing the rustic footbridge, climbing steps to reach the pavilion royal: altar of kingship.
Likewise, here today in the lakeside zephyr, gleaming rays of gold from the lighthouse fixed at North Point herald the gracious sovereign: King of the nation.
Gold processions lead the anointed monarch, Fierce Zouaves with bedposts protect his train, with scholars bringing 'vivats' from Abbavilla following happy.
Through the open meadow the cortege passes tennis courts and lighthouse ravines and bridges, Ice Rink Warming House and the bowling green, towards the pavilion.
Here the crown is placed on his head in silence, then, accepting service as foremost servant, all the gathered crowds all at once erupt in proud acclamation.
All the people know that their nation's spirit lives in every heart, and the coronation crowns their hearts in gold: universal royal hearts of Talossa!
Then, the birds depart for the shore with singing:
One-by-one, in search of their food for evening, leaving still serene and untroubled silence: night's coronation.
