Hi all,
I wondered what the protocol would be for making a PDF newspaper available? I thought it would be good to produce it as a newspaper so that its "real" at a fixed time rather than a news site. It's a long time since I played around with DTP and I'm aware of the many corpses of newspapers along the road, but I thought I might have a go and encourage contributions from others.
I don't have a website I could upload it to, so I suppose I could email to subscribers. Alternatively, would one of the existing Kingdom or independent websites host it online?

I just uploaded the first (and currently only) issue of the Jahnlähle Times to my Google Docs account. Works without a problem.

I think you can also just upload pdfs on witt.

A (very quick) example of a front page. Anyone interested in adding to it? I thought I'd like to get a couple of opinion columns, that fit the Talossan definition of left and right, anyone draw cartoons? Dan Attachments:1806 Coraziun.pdf (991.57 KB)

Dan I used Google Drive for Beric'ht Talossan, too. It worked well, although I also found great success in mirroring each article on our website. That mirroring led to more active engagement, and it was a routine, small amount of work that could be assigned to just one person (rather than trying to get the dozen people on staff to each do it). |

Danihel, I want to second Glüc's wiki suggestion, because that's what we use at Zoneu Auþorisat.
That you are trying to engage with journalism made me smile! I'm really glad to see this and I hope you go on and succeed :)

It'll be something I've done/not done! I could stick it up on the wiki, I've created an account, but not sure how I edit content/upload.

I've just added you to the Citizens group on the Wiki, Dan. You should now be able to create/edit pages and upload files.

Yes, make an article for your newspaper. What I do is I upload PDF to wiki and make a link in the article for people to use.
