And here it is, the winner of the Talossan Art Category for 2018!
I should have wrote of truth, squirrels, and peace
But my treatment of such topics shall cease
As far as I'm aware
Contestants are rare
And by default, my work the centerpiece
A limerick by Ian Plätschisch

Thanks to my horrible job at publicizing this thing following Hurricane Harvey hitting Houston last August and knocking my duties with the Festival right out of my mind, Ian's was the only entry submitted. He wins on prescience, if nothing else. However, he also wrote a fine poem. Thanks for your entry!!
