We are proud to announce the creation and celebration of what is soon to become an annual tradition throughout all Talossa...the First Annual Spaghetti Western Weekend! Bridging the gap between Benitos' American and Italian heritage, the Spaghetti Western Weekend celebrates the American West as viewed thru Italian eyes. Italian Western movies will be viewed, Ennio Morricone music will be played, and participants in the Weekend will brandish, and fire at will, cap pistols resembling the old six-shooters of the Western era. Theatrical cap pistol gun fights will be performed for the amusement of onlookers, and everyone is encouraged to deck themselves out in their finest western garb. The weekend closest to the birthday of Sergio Leone (January 3) will be the time we celebrate Spaghetti Western Weekend. Special dinners comprising elements of both Wild West and Italian cuisine are being planned. We encourage all Benitians, even if they are unable to celebrate the weekend in full, to at least enjoy a Lee Van Cleef movie during this period. "My mule don't like you laughing...he thinks you're laughing at him."

I dunno if this counts as a spaghetti western, but my favorite Yul Brynner movie is Westworld.

I dunno if this counts as a spaghetti western, but my favorite Yul Brynner movie is Westworld. Westworld is a classic. (Has anybody seen the Westworld tv series? I've heard it's good.) Yul Brynner was in a legit spaghetti western, the second film in the Sabata trilogy.
