I made this flier to advertise Talossa at MicroCon 2017, which Dien and I will be attending on Saturday. Feel free to use it whenever an opportunity to do so arises. A pdf version is attached for those that can't view Publisher files, but you will not be able to edit it to your liking. Attachments:Talossa flier.pub (182.5 KB)
Talossa flier.pdf (350.21 KB)

This is a Microsoft Publisher file? Mac can't open it. Can you export it to .pdf or .jpeg or something else? Thanks! :-)

Cool thing to do! One thing though: I can't view it because it's a .pub file. Can you upload it again as a .pdf or .rtf?

(I fixed Abbaville > Abbavilla and the very first semicolon > colon. And made the very low-res national arms image slightly smaller.)

MicroCon 2017, which Dien and I will be attending on Saturday. Wait, what?? Why hasn't any news about this been made public? I mean, I think it's great that you guys are going, but it would also be great if the public knew that the government was doing things like this. It's been too quiet around here.

I attached a pdf version to my original post, with Ián A's edits and a few more of my own.

Both Dien and I were unsure until very recently that we would be able to attend. In fact, I just found out yesterday that I could.

I look forward to hearing all the details about how it goes. Too bad we can't send you there with a big Talossan flag or something else tangible to represent Talossa.

We wanted to buy a flag, and actually had the expense planned for in the budget, but because we got too busy with coins plus we didn't really know if we were going or not, we never made the purchase.

The flier's great! Only two things I would suggest:
1. Don't include outdated diacritics in the "Learn Talossan" section. 2. Make the picture of El Bicoloreu solid and rectangular. It fills the space better and makes it undistorted.
I want to hear all about the different nations and things you see at MicroCon! I honestly wish I could go, but I'm out of the country.

1. Don't include outdated diacritics in the "Learn Talossan" section. Could you tell me which are outdated? I got all of them from the Prüms Päçens Lesson 1 sheet.

Talossan orthography is currently in a state of limbo. According to the CÚG, "ă" and "â" are alternative ways of spelling word-final "a" in feminine nouns and adjectives (part of the 2012 Arestada, which has still not been published for some reason). Note that you can *not* find any info about this 2012 Arestada online except by scrolling through hundreds of e-mails in the CÚG Yahoo group, and that Talossan.com has also not been updated accordingly.
(In my humble opinion, having these optionalities in your orthography is bad enough -- thats why i want to get rid of them -- but not even informing everyone about their existence is too much.)

Err...I know very little Talossan, so if you could just tell me the correct spellings of the words I spelled wrong, that would be great

Point well taken about the 2012 Arestada. I will see if I can do something about that this weekend, because that does seem to be pretty urgent. Does the flyer look like it's consistent with A2012? I can only view Witt on my phone right now and the PDF won't download for me.
