Right Honourable Minister of Culture,
Would the Right Honourable member agree with me when I say Talossa is kinda dead just now? I mean we could poke it with a stick, right?
What's happening over in the Ministry of Culture?
Warmest regards,
Éovart Grischun, Opposition party, RUMP.

What's happening over in the Ministry of Culture? Warmest regards, Éovart Grischun, Opposition party, RUMP. I am happy to rise to respond to the questions from the Senator. 1) It's getting towards Northern Hemisphere Summer. Things are always pretty dead. 2) So far my main achievement as MinCult has been legislative reform editing out some of the more embarrassing parts of Culture-related laws (i.e. "cool" and pirates raping people). I'm raising a young Dandelion as well so my attention has been distracted. 3) The top priority set by the incoming Government has been working with the Ladîntsch Naziunál on language-learning materials. So far it seems that the L.N., Sir Cresti, is even busier than I am. So that's also been on the back burner. 4) The Ministry of Culture has been batting other ideas around within the Cabinet, but none of the ideas raised so far have excited the broad masses yet. I am personally partial to the good old idea of an interprovincial online sports competition (chess, video-gaming, whatever). If anyone was keen to help organise that the Ministry of Culture would give full support.

I'd love to help with/organize such a competition, just as long as I don't have to code the entire game myself, and as long as it can be done on a Mac and isn't on Steam, and is free (e.g. a War Thunder one-on-one dogfighting tournament, or a timed Cookie Clicker race-to-a-trillion challenge {video evidence required}, or a just a plain ol' chess tournament). Just message me or whatever if it sounds like a good idea.

Unless you mean "Things are always pretty dead", like, actually, always. You don't, though, you're blaming the time of the year for how quiet it is. That might play a part in the overall peaks and troughs of it all, but there is a wider, longer term, more systemic problem at play. Again, we could poke it with a stick, right? 2) Rapist Pirates? Lol. Now there's some hyperbole that's "Miestra AF" (TM). 3) Yer... Like, did EVERYBODY go out and have babies this past year? I know, we're all busy, myself included. I get it. Days seem to keep getting shorter. 4) I thank the Minister for offering the good old tried and tested approach to getting others to poke it with a stick for her.
