As a new member of this province, I would love to get to know y'all better. So I figured I just ask! What are you currently doing? (School, university, work?) What are you passionate about? ( music, collecting coins, learning languages?) What is a place you'd like to visit? Where have you travelled? What languages do you speak/ would you like to learn? Are you happy or is something bugging you currently? Feel free to write whatever occupies your mind or what makes you you. I am looking forward to your replies!

6. Are you happy or is something bugging you currently? I'm happy but I think the planet is going to hell; that's not too fun.

1. What are you currently doing? Currently Im in the second year of my master in Ecology at the Free University in Amsterdam. Before this I got my bachelor's in general Biology. For my last research internship I looked at how water content of litter influences consumption rates by woodlouse. 2. What are you passionate about? Music (listening to it mostly, I can play a little bit of guitar and piano, but I'm not very good at either), world politics, Talossa 3. What is a place you'd like to visit? Estonia, I don't really know much about it, but for some reason I am still obsessed with going there someday. I'd really like to make a trip to Tallinn, Stockholm, Helsinki and St Petersburg someday, but there aren't any plans yet. Also: Iceland, New York, Tibet. 4. Where have you travelled? Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, the UK, France, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Italy, The Vatican, Slovenia, Greece, Prague, Barcelona, Istanbul, South Africa, Canada (BC, Alberta) 5. What languages do you speak/ would you like to learn? I speak Dutch and English, a very limited amount of German, and an even more limited amount of French. Id like to learn Talossan 6. Are you happy or is something bugging you currently? Both. I'm happy, but there are also aspects of my life I need to work on. I'm agnostic about whether the planet is going to hell or not, I do worry about Trump though

Hey Sarac'h, I really like your attitude and the fact you want to know the personalities behind Cezembre. I'd also like to know your own replies to your questions! These are mine:
1.What are you currently doing? (School, university, work?) I'm working currently as an IT\accounting specialist. Soon I'll be on vacation: I will go to southern Russia, Sochi.
2. What are you passionate about? ( music, collecting coins, learning languages?) I have a lot of passions. I love writing music more than I like listening to it. I love reading, I love languages. Also I have some specific political interests of which my Talossan acquaitances might be already aware, but which weren't particularily enjoyed by them this spring. I also love Formula-1 Racing, card and board games and poetry.
3. What is a place you'd like to visit? A lot of them. Stronger than anything I want to visit Iceland, Greenland, Canada, Ireland, Korea, Antarctica and Australia. Finland too, it's also close to where I am.
4. Where have you travelled? Some Russian cities only. *sigh*
5. What languages do you speak/ would you like to learn? I speak Russian, English and very limited French. I started learning Korean but all I managed was to read their script. I also love creating artificial languages.
6. Are you happy or is something bugging you currently? I'm a happy person, but I'm always bugged by something. Future of humankind and planet Earth is what concerns me most of all.

It is so interesting to me to read your answers so thank you for taking the time to write them. Also here are my ones: What are you currently doing? I just started my first year at inernational university. I study bio/ medical technology and hope to be a bio engineer in 3 years from now. What are you passionate about? I am a passionate pianist but music in general is a big part of my life. I play the guitar and sing as well but rather poorly and merely for fun. I'm a dancer and participate in shows and competitions regularly. What is a place you'd like to visit? There are too many places I'd like to visit. I hope to see Canada soon and more of Europe (mostly the eastern part) Where have you travelled? So far I've been to England a lot, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, New Zealand, China and Australia. What languages do you speak/ would you like to learn? I am fluent in German and English (although I am currently working on improving my written English) and nearly fluent in french. Unfortunately I don't really have anyone to speak with so I can't practice Smalltalk. I also speak a tiny bit of polish and Dutch. I am looking forward to learn Talossan, Italian and Russian! Are you happy or is something bugging you currently? I am a happy and thankful person but a thing that really bugs me is inequality and unfairness. I agree that it does not look great for the world but I am trying to do my part. Sometimes even little things make a difference and that is cheering me up a lot Talossans appear to be well travelled, educated and compassionate people. That's what makes the community really strong Have a nice day y'all!

1. What are you currently doing? (School, university, work?) I am retired, but I used to be a computer systems consultant. However I now have even more to do - I am relearning the Beethoven piano sonatas, beginning to learn the Mozart piano sonatas, and scratching my head over the Bach works for organ - I play the organ (badly) too. I am also writing some scientific papers on one aspect of mathematical physics (boring! - but it interests me hugely).
2. What are you passionate about? ( music, collecting coins, learning languages?) I am passionate about music - listening to it, playing it and writing it. I am passionate about reading - my wife complains that we don't have enough room for eight thousand books (we do!), so I beginning to thin them out. I am very interested in linguistics - including computational linguistics (see the later question). I suppose fairy tales and myths are in my major interests as well.... Oh, and I keep bees as well.
3. What is a place you'd like to visit? I would love to visit Iceland. I would like to see China. I really want to go to Russia - specifically St. Petersburg, to see the art. Brazil, Sweden and India are on my list too - but each for a different reason.
4. Where have you travelled? I have been to the USA (at least 16 states!), Canada, England (Ireland, Scotland and Wales!), France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Holland, Denmark, Belgium, Luxembourg - and Monaco (if that can be classified as a separate country).
5. What languages do you speak/ would you like to learn? I speak English and French. I understand a lot of Latin. I can read (but not speak) Italian and Spanish. I have spent some time learning Sanskrit, Russian and Farsi - but have forgotten nearly all of what I learned, as I have not used those languages. There are also the computer languages that I know (and this is a long list!): Fortran, Cobol, Pascal, Algol 60, C, Basic, SQL, PL/I, IBM 360/370 Assembler, 8086 (etc.) machine code, GRI 909 machine code (now that's a bit special!), and several computing languages I myself designed for specific purposes. And of course there are all the control languages - MVS JCL, VM control, the various Unix shells (C Shell, Bourne Shell, K Shell, bash). I know a little bit of awk and I use most of the obscure commands in vi. If these count as languages... and I have written and published two books on computational linguistics (well, you've got to do something in your spare time!)
6. Are you happy or is something bugging you currently? I am happy. I am busy, I have a fulfilling life and a great family. The one thing that bugs me is the fact of death: as I get older (I am 71 years old) that Great Adventure comes nearer and nearer. And we - mankind - are wilfully destroying this planet and making it impossible for it to sustain life - including human life.
There you are - from the oldest (in years, I think) citizen of Talossa.
