As we have been contacted by, at the time of writing, 26 people who are participating in Misha Collins's The Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen, it's not more than fair that we dedicate a thread to this endeavour. Link: GISHWHESUnfortunately, getting a Talossan citizenship cannot be accomplished in the week the scavenger hunters have at their disposal, but I sure see the fit with Talossa:

I am one of the Gisher applicants who will surely stick around after the hunt. Even though there is a certain competitive air to it (the teams gather points to go on a trip with Misha Collins), I am having so much fun with the items that I am considering planning my next summer holidays during the hunt so that I can invest more time on it!
I recommend whoever is curious to take a look at last year's items. They will surely make you smile :-)

I looked at the website but couldn't find any of the hunt items (either from this year or last year). Are they on the website somewhere?

Out of curiosity I looked at the website but couldn't find any of the hunt items. Are they publicly available or only available to GISHers? I thought so, but then someone on my immigration thread implied he had read the items. I don't know whether he knows somebody doing the hunt or if he came across the list on the Internet. And Ián, I was (agressively) convinced to do the hunt by a friend of mine who is a Supernatural fan. I've just started to watch the series, or rather withstand the cheesy first 18 episodes xD I've only continued because I have been assured it becomes weird and funny and interesting afterwards.

Well, we could expedite citizenship, if we so choose. Not sure if that's something we want to do, but it might be a good promotion for us.

Well, it would take a PD modifying Title E to allow for some expedited process, because an act would not take effect until September 21st at the earliest. Then, King John would have to countersign and the Chancery issue a grant based on whatever the new procedure was, all by August 6th. Sounds impractical to me, unfortunately.SEE BELOW

It would be awkward, but we could do it. Too bad we didn't figure this out any earlier.

Can PDs grant citizenship directly? If so, here is a draft, if not, I can come up with something else. ( Sir C. M. Siervicül )
THE FASTEST TALOSSAN CITIZENSHIP THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN PRIME DICTATE (49PD02) WHEREAS "The Greatest Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen" features an item which requires participants to become a member of a micronation on an expedited timeline, andWHEREAS Typically Talossan legislators don't like making one-time exceptions, but Talossa is quirky and fun, and GISHWHES is quirky and fun, so the two groups are kindred spirits, and WHEREAS The said GISHWHES item states that "[the micronation has to grant expedited citizenship] just because they...like the idea of gishwhes," andWHEREAS The last few days have clearly shown that Talossans do like the idea of GISHWHES, andWHEREAS Talossan bureaucracy is known for being painfully slow, but that is no reason not to tryTHEREFORE Talossan citizenship (the best thing money can't buy) is immediately conferred upon the following; Janio Paternina Kenna Coltman Katharina Schmitt Chelsy Doyle Luci Wilson

I think this is a bad idea. We want to see how prospective citizens behave and how active they are. In blanco citizenships just because someone is raising a hand? I don't see why.
