Was King John ever actually crowned on Talossan soil? If not, whereabouts was the coronation? (what a n00b, sorry if that's common knowledge) History of the MonarchyIs October 12th the current King's birthday? (I hope I haven't spoiled the surprise party...) (Culture - Days of Observance)Is the Royal Opera and Talossan Football League still a thing? (It should be!) Should the refrence to literature be excised since its mentioned in the next secton. Also, the mythical ice race...? Culture - The Performing ArtsAlso is there any recent Talossan literary works to be added to the list of literature? (last entry on KoT.net is 2011) Should English language works count as well, as A Nation Sundered is an obvious entry for historical context. Culture - LiteratureI don't think that aside from CuG many of the listed societies are still active. Please prove me wrong! (Though I think we can place Talossa AID in a "defunct" section...) Culture -Organizations and SocitiesTHere are obviously heavier sections to be done, but one has to start somewhere.

Was King John ever actually crowned on Talossan soil? If not, whereabouts was the coronation? (what a n00b, sorry if that's common knowledge) History of the MonarchyNo, unfortunately. There never was an actual coronation ceremony, to my knowledge. But Lord Hooligan did procure a vintage Milwaukee Fire Department cap to use as a royal crown (to replace the original one that Ben took with him when he abdicated). King John has worn this at TalossaWest gatherings. Is October 12th the current King's birthday? Yep! Ben's is 2 July. (And Organic Law Day is 6 July, and our laws require that a fireworks show be held in Talossa sometime in the 2-6 July range. Remarkably, the Cestours always comply.) Is the Royal Opera and Talossan Football League still a thing? (It should be!) Yeah, it should be! Hooligan has been working on another opera for ages (with notional help from me). I'm sure we'll finish it someday, but who knows when. It would be awesome if someday someone with compositional ability were able to score the existing operas. Also is there any recent Talossan literary works to be added to the list of literature? (last entry on KoT.net is 2011) Should English language works count as well, as A Nation Sundered is an obvious entry for historical context. Culture - LiteratureI know there are several translated stories that have been produced since 2011. I do think original English works by Talossans should count, such as the excellent poem written by our Poet Laureate a couple of months ago. Sir Tamoran has posted an original poem or two to Witt as well. I don't think that aside from CuG many of the listed societies are still active. Please prove me wrong! You're right, they're pretty much all inactive. Though some of them have sustained an extremely low level of activity for such a long period of time that I wouldn't call them defunct (like the TSF&WS).
