Hello all,
So I have a small question. As I am not knowledgeable enough in El GlheÞ to work this out entirely by myself. So I was wondering how one would properly decline "Ammon Maxiplüs poßint" as in "Ammon, Absolute Most Potent".
Thanks, Eiric

I'd probably say "Ammon, ausolümint el pü poßint".

Thanks! I scoured L'Översteir for the right words, but was coming up short and needed some one a bit more experienced to figure it out.

I'd probably say "Ammon, ausolümint el pü poßint". Would that not be "absolute ly most potent"?

I'd probably say "Ammon, ausolümint el pü poßint". Would that not be "absolute ly most potent"? Right. English tends to be more flexible about parts of speech than Romance languages usually are, so a exact 1:1 correspondence of English to Talossan, down to derivational morphemes, didn't feel right to me. "Absolute" seems to syntactically function as an adverb here, modifying "most potent", even though it isn't marked as an adverb in English in this example. But it would be nice to hear from a native Romlang speaker about how they would translate this into Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc. For French, ausolument le plus puissant seems like the best translation to me, but my French was never fluent and is now pretty rusty.

As a native French speaker I would have traslated it as "Ammon le plus puissant absolu" though it's been years since I've been in school so my syntax may not be 100%, my French being more dialectual.
