WHEREAS 47RZ19, the election ballot act, Strike 2 added the ability for parties to publish 50 words statements on referendums AND
WHEREAS only one individual used that in the last election, Marti-Pair Furxheir of the PC party AND
WHEREAS he did so for all 12 referendums, not just his own 7 amendments AND
WHEREAS Marti-Pair plans to do it again in the future, to help guide the voters AND
WHEREAS He will most likely not be a member of the Cosa since he is Secretary of State and 47RZ31 will prevent him from being the Ziu AND
WHEREAS that same act will also allow him to submit bills simply as being the Secretary of State AND
WHEREAS the way 47RZ19 stands, Marti-Pair will not be able to write the 50 words essays AND
WHEREAS the way it was written, Senators couldn't either submit bills since they are not in a party! AND
WHEREAS the King, who can also submit bills wouldn't be able to write such a 50 word statements
THEREFORE ZIU resolved to modify Section B, Article 2.2 of El Lexhatx which currently reads:

Nope nope nope. If someone is not allowed to sit in the Cosa due to the law, he or she should not be submitting 50 word statements. Sorry but that's how I feel.

They can. But according to the 50 word statement law, they can't put 50 word statements on the ballot for referendums.

May I just point out that the King might have been able to write a 50 word essay expressing his rejection of 47RZ28, informing the population of his opposition to it!

I think this should only be for parties, personally.

I think this should only be for parties, personally. As far as parties go, we shouldn't be limiting 50 word statements only to parties which held seats in the last Cosa. Any registered party for the election being conducted should be able to submit 50 word statements for that election.

The King didn't really oppose it. He decided to not proclaim it as a warning to us not to touch his powers with any future amendments.
