Hi everyone,

It is my pleasure to announce the launch of the brand new Monthly Publication: Preßeu Zespenat, with me as Editor-in-chief.

Unlike Beritc'ht Talossan or El Tamoran Talossan, Preßeu Zespenat isn't a newspaper, it is actually a magazine, that will be published every Month, on the 15th of the Month.

It is available free of charge (of course), and can be read online at: zespenat.ca/ and you can download a PDF version by clicking this link

Be warned, the PDF issue is 45 pages long: 43 pages of content, the cover and the table of content! So simmer it, read a few articles today, keep the read for later this month!

Granted, this issue contains the Party Manifestos, so you can skip them if you already read them (Parties have our more sincere apologies if we got anything wrong. For the next election, they will be able to post their manifestos themselves).

The side is made on Wordpress and as such, you can comment directly on the site on any articles, and we can create a user account for you to post your own articles for inclusion in the next issue.

You can and should definitely subscribe from directly on the website, in the right column so that you get it automatically in your email once per month. We will not contact you for anything else.

Subscriptions and comments are our only forms of salary, so make us feel the love!

This month is a special election edition, and was put together rather quickly since we were founded on May 4th, and didn't have a full month to prepare, that's partly why only one original article wasn't written by me.

A few things planned for our first issue, original planned for June 15th 2015, are not there, a few columns, a few collaborators, etc... but we'll get there.

Please note that all of the Manifestos have the same "priority" and as such, are listed in order of publication, with the earlier articles first, and the more recent last. The RUMP was the last to announce it's manifesto, so it was posted last.

No preference was given to any party.

Seriously good work, MP.  As you suggest, I'll read a few articles per day to make it manageable.

Regarding the Atatürk piece, Article I, Section 2 of our Constitution states that:

Citizens of the Province of Atatürk shall be known as Atatürkeys or Atatürkers.

I think I've already gone on record in saying I never liked the terms Atatürkeys or Turkeys to refer to our constituents. Atatürkers suits me fine. Personal taste.

I will, however, expect your vote.

Yeah, when I went to tell that to the Secretary of State, he felt out of touch and rather busy. He almost pushed me out of his office after he realized he was wrong.

Marti-Pair appears to sometimes be stuck in 2001-2004 regarding Atatûrk, as if he regretted not having taken the province further back then when he was senator. I could almost feel nostalgia or perhaps sadness in his eyes that he didn't get the chance to reach his goals back in those days.

I tried to ask him about it, but that when he told me he was busy with preparing the election and shooed me out of his office, but the thing is, he wasn't holding any of the election papers in his hand. He had the Chancery copy of the Atatûrk constitution in his hand...

I mean, he still has a 2003 map of Talossa without Fiova on it in his office (he also has the new one).

There was also a document next to him, it says "Constitution of Atatûrk", but it's unlike ANYTHING I ever seen. Between you and I, I think that Marti-Pair had written a constitution for Atatûrk back in 2001-2004 and never got around to propose it.

I'll catch to get a quote on that for the next issue. I often see him in the corridors of the capital.

Wow... that is right on spot. I am surprised Marti-Pair, I didn't know you saw that clearly through me. It's a little scary..

It wasn't written by me, but by Daviu Focteir, and it was glorious. Sadly I only have a vague draft, I no longer have the original. I searched for it, to no avail. That's why I am sad.

I have no idea how many of you have read the first issue, but we are (well, I am) already working on the June 15th issue.

That list will automatically grow as new articles are added, but you won't be able to read the actual articles until the next issue.

I still don't get it, and it's a bit of a kick in the teeth to ministers who loyally served under him during the last Cosa. I wonder, does he want another coalition?

One might only suspect a few sour grapes coming from a party which expected to lead a third coalition in a row, and suddenly has competition and therefore explain why anyone would vote for a party which just stands as being... well, moderate.

Of course, anyone can read the FreeDems manifesto and see that a hell of a lot unites Liberal monarchists and Republican dirigistes as well as many in between: increasing democracy, protections on individual freedoms, provincial devolution and efficient government.
