Azul everyone! As of 9:00 am today, the LibCon polls have closed. As your party secretary, I hereby announce the winner of our party's presidential election! Garnering a vote of 5-1, current president Carlüs Xheraltescu maintains his position and remains the Liberal Cogress' president. Congratulations to you good sir! It was a productive campaign for both candidates. Many issues were roused and discussed. 'Tis only natural considering our nation is heading into the unforeseeable future. Let the good President lead our party with wisdom and loyalty for we formally place our trust in his discretion.

Would you care to formulate a short speech in response to your victory?

Well, colour me impressed. With such a worthy opponent I can safely say that I expected a much closer result than that. It's clearer than ever that I have a Presidential mandate to continue running our party as I always have - that I should keep fighting for liberty on our behalf in the Ziu, and that I should continue to represent our views faithfully to the people of Talossa.
We have some interesting times ahead of us. With an election approaching, we're running out of time to get some meaningful reforms through, but even if we achieve nothing else from our manifesto, I will be proud of our record. We have fought to put liberty at the very heart of government, ensuring that as many bills as possible have a distinctly liberal stamp on their front page. And now you've voted for all that and more, because that's what I promised you. Let's dive head first into the next election confidently in the knowledge that we bridge the gap of the ideological divide in our country; we're pragmatists that can advance a radical centrist agenda by working with people, not against them. We lobby for change, we do not fight them. We put liberty first, not our own self-interest.
In the next few weeks, if Miestra Schiva continues to lead the ZRT I expect to receive a proposal regarding the future of their party. It will not be for me to decide how we respond to this proposal, it will be up to you. But I urge you not to give in to the temptation of increased representation without ensuring that we protect the principles that our party was founded on. We mustn't let a proposal now ruin any alliances we might make later - we must be prudent and mindful of our political philosophy, because it's that which defines us as a party.
