How did you all celebrate? I stayed in, ate a lot of Indian food, binge watched the Legend of Korra, and drank my (very nice) birthday wine.

Awesome; what's the total running time of all of them?
I ate so much I thought I was going to explode...

We also ate Indian food, and watched the countdown and fireworks in London at a friend's house. With small children, that's better than keeping them till midnight local time. And London's on Universal Time, after all.

Let's just say I stayed up all night and didn't finish till the following afternoon. I ate so much food I feel the need to go on a cleanse for the next couple of days

Tricia and I babysat our nieces (8 and almost 4) while their parents had their first "date night" in ages. We played Connect 4 and watched some insane anime.

Seems like most people had fairly tame celebrations then. Unless of course it was a particularly hardcore game of Connect 4?

Have you ever played with 3 year olds? They do play hardcore. They insist on taking multiple turns. And using your pieces. And they keep playing even after they lose.

Spent new years eve with my loved one, via telephone and facebook etc, as she lives in Hamburg, which, unfortunately, is quite some kilometres away from Frankfurt. I may move to the Northwest for good in the course of this year, though, thus our geographical seperation won't last forever.
