Azul, and well-met, all!
As inactive as I've been this year, I do think it well to perhaps start a tradition of our provincial head giving an Independence Day Address. Here is my first attempt at such...
Talossa survives another year, and Fiova along with it. Our community, borne of mutual respect, friendship, dignity, and valiant defence of common human decency against the pounding tsunami of vendetta and spite, a community that lived for eight years as an indepenent sovereign state and then marched in full dignity and locked arms together with the community from which it came, a community cleansed of the vitriol which had so infected same, continues to remain vibrant, active (even if its chief is not so much), and thriving. 2014 has been a good, good year.
And 2015 promises to be no less. But it will be such only if I (and everyone else) never takes for granted our community and how it could fail to the greatest enemies of all: apathy and boredom. Let us all work to continually vanquish those from our collective and individual Talossan lives. As much as I can, I shall do my part.
If you are so inclined, have a wonderful set of holidays, and in any case, happy new year to you all, and may God bless us and Talossa always!
