I don't know what anybody else would think of this, or even if I am posting this in the right place of the Wittenberg, but shouldn't Talossa have a domain ending. I am not talking about a real TLD, but getting a short form, such as elrt.co (El regipäts Tolossan) and then giving or selling sub domains to parties and newspapers (modrads.elrt.co, rump.* zrt.*) and such (as well as gov.* to the gov) might be a good idea, and witt.* if the Witt is nationalised, not saying that it will be, just if. Any thoughts?

Nope, not at all, I know of these. I am talking about as Talossa want to share it cultural diversity, then it should have a psuedo-TLD name which parties, organisations and the like can all register up to hence allowing citizens, not just government organisations, to have proper Tolossan domain names.

Yes, but, Well, seeing as one can practically not register their own proper TLD, talossa.kot is not possible, What I mean like gov.kot.co or gov.kot.org (both taken hence my idea of elrt.co or .org)

Edited above post because what my tablet thought I wrote wasn't what I wrote (screen problems).
Any opinions, anyone?

They are not very SEO friendly. Perhaps something to consider after we've reached 10,000 citizens?

How about buying the useful ones now - to hold in reserve? I think you'll find that we (the general Internet community) will get used to the new TLDs very quickly - they are spreading.

Azul! Are you talking about something similar to this? www.opennicproject.org by changing your dns server you are able to access other unrecognized domains and could create your own such as .kot take a look at the site and see how this can be done. I think this might be what you are looking for. How it helps!

I think this might be what you are looking for. How it helps! Might be a good idea, but people can normally not enter the websites then. However, if we were to register a OpenNIC TLD I propose to register ".rt" instead of ".kot", since it is shorter and it's in the Talossan language (most country TLDs use the endonym).

True, they would need to configure their dns server to allow themselves access to other top level domains such as .kot or .rt but it is possible to do and is interesting.
