Good Morning! My name is Marcu Andrew, And if it so please the Squirrel King of Arms, I request the assistance of the College in designing and obtaining arms for myself and my lawful heirs. My mother is related with the old hungarian Hunyadi family, and I tried to redesign their Coat of Arms. The raven: Wisdom The cross: Faith The bards: Fight to the end

Greetings! Thank you for your request! I'll forward this to the Squirrel King of Arms. I should point out that what you have presented has a few concerns. First, it violates the Rule of Tincture. We cannot have a Sable Raven on an Azure background. Secondly, Banners under the CoA are also not allowed. I suggest you peruse this link : Designing your Coat Of Arms While we process your request. Thanks!

As the Dean of the College, I am assigning the CoA to the Penzance Pursuivant to this request.
Which also happens to be me.
Since you already have a design in mind, may I ask why you have chosen these devices and tinctures?

As I wrote earlier, my mother is related with the old hungarian Hunyadi family, and I tried to redesign their Coat of Arms. In the new design the raven stands for wisdom, the cross for faith and the bards represents the fight to the end. I have one without the logo in it. What should I change on it, to be legal in Talossa?

Question: A corvus proper, however, would work, would it not? And a corvus proper is a corvus sable, is it not?

Ok, I will try, but I'm not too good in graphic software. I design this coat of arms online, with a Java based application.

Ok, I will try, but I'm not too good in graphic software. I design this coat of arms online, with a Java based application. But YOU don't have to do it, if you don't want to . We have many skilled artisans that will create your Coat of Arms. Just give us what you want portrayed, and we can do the rest for you.

Question: A corvus proper, however, would work, would it not? And a corvus proper is a corvus sable, is it not? "Proper" is used to describe the standard colouring of device ( like an animal) in their natural colours determined by convention rather than observation in the wild; for instance, a "popinjay" proper is green, not any of the huge range of colours that parrots are coloured with in nature; and dragons, though never found in nature, are also green when proper. So yes, an Corvus (Crow) proper would be Sable (black). Which would still be on an Azure (blue) background. Dark shades are considered "Colours", light shades are considered "Metals". So, to answer your question - It would not work.

So, the original design can be modified to have the right combination of tinctures?
