There appears to be an issue with my account, Marti-Pair Furxheir S.H. . I can't see anything when I attempt to review the revised voter list. I think I know why! The system, designed back in 2001, still needs a "Cosa" record, when in reality, they are superfluous other than for denoting who was the SoS at the time of the election.é However, I still used them to determine what is the most recent Cosa, instead of using the current one. I created the Cosa record directly in the DB for now, which should fix your access right, but I will need to revise this. Just checked and it still is showing nothing unfortunately.

Stupid, stupid me! I created the 50th Cosa, not the 49th!
I changed it and you should see the list now.
Sorry again.

Now, the Cosa record is automatically created in the background when needed. We no longer need to manually create it. This will solve Breiner's issue forever.

The Secretary of State Form for managing the current data is now composed almost entirely of drop-downs (only the Cosa Number remains an edit box) and I have added a note on changing the Cosa Number

The Alias emails should now, in theory, work.
You can email yourself at [citnumber]@talossa.ca, but only if:
1 ) You have picked Reveal or Alias in the privacy form or 2 ) You have not used the privacy form and your citizen number is less or equal to 464
You can, for example, email me at 101[at]talossa.ca

Another series of change this morning:
1 ) When the SoS goes to the Email Ballot page outside of an election, instead of just seeing an error, he will see the preview of his emailed ballot.
2 ) The name of the SoS is no longer hard coded, but rather, it is read from the Cosa record, so that when I am no longer the SoS, the name of my replacement will be displayed on it instead.
3 ) I am now able to store the Election Deadline and the Ballot day for each Cosa. I manually entered it for the 48th and the 49th, but there isn't yet a tool for the SoS to do it himself. That's coming later.
4 ) I now fill the election deadline in the emailed ballot from the new Election Deadline field, so that it's dynamic. If the field wasn't filled, it takes the 1st day of the next month, so that's fully automated.

OK, so today is very, very exciting, to me at least! First, a minor update: at the top of each Clark, there is a button "view All Bills from Cosa". That page already exited, but there was no link from the Clarks. I often use that page when I don't remember from which Clark a bill was, so I feel like it's useful. But in all honestly, that a secondary one! The main update is the new page: www.talossa.ca/files/clarkpdf.php?cosa=48&clark=5Linked now from the top of every Clark, even old ones. This page dynamically makes a PDF of the Clark from which the link is clicked. Eventually, this will allow to make the saved Clark automatically. But the biggest news is that this will enable me to send a PDF ballot for the election.

Hi Everyone, The Unofficial Talossa Database has changed a lot in the last week and I thought I should provide an update of my work in the last 7 days. Here is a list of tasks: - Reconciled the citizenship list from the 4 existing lists, which sometimes gave 4 different citizen number for a single citizen
- Redid the layout
- Added all of the past pages exect the election vote one (since I need to add the secret ballot)
- Fixed a lot of encoding issues. There are a few more to fix, but it is progressing quickly
- Prepared the data on all of the clarks and cosa, with the SoS name, PM name and party, dates, etc...
- In that list, I now list the recesses if they occur before the 6th Clark
- I added a single-sign on system on the site, so that users (such as the SoS) login only once for all of the pages
- This allowed me to fix the security of the edition forms: now, they all share the same code to protect the data
- Gave a login to the SoS and trained him on data entry.
- He found a few bugs yesterday, I fixed them today, and hopefully, he will be able to use it. I also adjusted to his feedback a few things
- I notably made it easier to copy cosa members from one Clark to Another
- I made the Mass Edit page for citizens available for the first time to someone other than me (the SoS)
- Made a plan with the SoS to coordinate our efforts to migrate new data to the DB
Very well done dear Hon'ble Marti-Pair Furxheir...Thank you so much for the update!

And now, the Electoral ballot will be emailed at in the past, in HTML within the body of the email, but also in PDF format attached to the email.
This means that if someone has a corrupted email, they should still see the attachment!

And yet another update!
The Secretary of State can now edit the Referendum Statements by the parties with an easy to use form!
This one was hard to do, but I think it's worth it.
I have now entered the 2 MRPT statements. The first one was made manually using the database backend (like I always do, first record is manual, to test the reading because I make the writing), but the 2nd statement was entered using the form!

I did something completely different today...
I began a document called "How to administer the Talossa Database System.docx" which will eventually become a PDF posted on the talossa.ca website.
It's only 2 pages now, but it will grow over the next few days and weeks.

Work this morning:
1) My documentation is now 13 pages long. That's 11 pages written today, but of course, with Screenshots, it makes it so much faster to increase page count, so word count might be bettere: 2059 words.
2 ) In the SoS admin page, for the Cosa Member and Senator entry, I have replaced the old "type a number" field with the new searchable drop down. It's a MAJOR improvement for the Secretary of State.

The Create a Referendum function was improved so that it lists the pending referendums.
The documentation now has 17 pages, 2460 words.
