On the last few days, here is what I did: 1 ) The Registered parties and Senate Endorsements are now listed on the election rules page: www.talossa.ca/files/electionrules.php2 ) The Ballot is now mostly billingual thanks to Cresti Sievicül: www.talossa.ca/files/vote.php3 ) The leaders are now listed on the ballot. They were in the emailed ballot, but weren't showing up in the online voting form 4 ) When the election is activated, the PSCs of the previous election are automatically wiped off so that new ones will be generated. In the past, this had to be done manually in the database by me, whether I was SoS or not. Now, a SoS who isn't me will be able to do that by himself. 5 ) I fixed the \\\ in the ballot referendums

MASSIVE, MASSIVE work done this morning: 1 ) I have entered the votes for the 45th Cosa into the database. The referendums are not in, but the votes are. The source is here: talossa.proboards.com/thread/8175?page=1The result is here: www.talossa.ca/files/election_result.php?cosa=45&sorting=Name2 ) I have modified the Not Voted page (http://www.talossa.ca/files/notvoted.php) to list: A ) The last Cosa we have a vote for in the Database (either 6-33, or 45-47, since the data for 34-44 isn't in yet) B ) The number of strikes The color indicates: - white: we do not have any votes, either they didn't vote since the 45th, or they are new citizen and it's their first election. - green: they voted in the last election, no strike - yellow: they have 1 strike (they voted in the 46h but not in the 47th) - red: they have 2 or more strikes Please note that having 2 or more strikes is NOT a problem for a former citizen who returned to Talossa since the last 2 elections: for them, the strikes are reset to 0.

This is now fixed. The party page is still ugly and wasn't updated since 2002, but at least, the link works.

The PSC will now be only 8 characters long for future elections and will not have a dash.
Some people have a problem with the dash.
Now, only the first 8 characters of the PSC are checked.

When linking to a bill, the bill is no longer in a collapsed box you have to open.
This is because the single bill display is the same page as a the bill listing page and had forgotten (when I added the collapsed box) that they both shared the same code (which was one of the first I had written, in early 2001).

The hosting company which hosts the database system (my company) now stores a weekly backup of all of it's shared hosting servers on a cloud provider for extra disaster recovery protection!

After 7 months, I have an update: it is now possible for the SoS (or any Chancery official with CENSUS rights) to change the province of a citizen.

Today, I did a major update to the database: a new page for registered party management!
The SoS now has a page to register a new party, and update already registered ones.
This is yet one more task that only I, as DB admin, I could do which now, any SoS after me (including me) can do directly in the database pages.

Over the last few days, I created not only a Privacy settings page, but I also changed the way the voters are listed to party leaders to respect their wishes.
This morning, I did the Senator Endorsement edition page, which means that now, another SoS than me will be able to edit the senator endorsements by his own!

I finally created a new page to approve Facebook logins!
The form detects if the email from Facebook is in the citizen list and if it is the case, the link is semi-automatic ( I only need to press submit).
I had 13 pending facebook logins, now, I am down to 4!
That means that I automatically approved 9 citizens!
I fixed another one manually, leaving 3.
Two of these are duplicate (the Facebook ID changed so I deleted the wrong one). I cannot associate these remaining 2, but they have a lot of mutual friends so I think they are Talossans, but maybe I only have their Talossan name.

There appears to be an issue with my account, Marti-Pair Furxheir S.H.. I can't see anything when I attempt to review the revised voter list.

There appears to be an issue with my account, Marti-Pair Furxheir S.H. . I can't see anything when I attempt to review the revised voter list. I think I know why! The system, designed back in 2001, still needs a "Cosa" record, when in reality, they are superfluous other than for denoting who was the SoS at the time of the election.é However, I still used them to determine what is the most recent Cosa, instead of using the current one. I created the Cosa record directly in the DB for now, which should fix your access right, but I will need to revise this.
