I am apathetic. I do not like the name but do not care if I like the name of something. The name does not define the thing, it only makes it easier to refer to. However, it would appear as though this will not go away and so I vote YEA. Let us be thorough and done with this topic, one way or the other.

First of all, let me say a thing, or even better, a þing (we're Talossans!).

The provincial name change has been in my party programme since my very first appearence in this honourable Chancellery. After a huge dose of debates about the way we conducted the informal campaign of name change, I decided not to go on with the proposal, but rather to wait, and since I didn't want to have such an argument again, I stated in my manifesto for the past Maestro election that I wouldn't propose a name change except if said name change isn't supported by the vast majority of the citizens.

I appreciate Ch. Asmorescu's proposal, and I believe that if we will be able to work well on this matter, the name we will possibly choose will be a name shared and agreed by every citizen.

So yes, I support this resolution. YEA.

In the interest of finally having a permanent provincial name, agreeable to all, or at the least the vast majority of us, I hereby vote YEA on this proposal.
