Our two candidates are

Admiral T.M. Asmourescu and Lüc Ianescu Braneusefiglhëu da Schir,

Admiral T.M. Asmourescu's declared platform is:

1. Redesign of the provincial website
2. Listing all previously passed legislation on said website
3. Re-establishing the Lorentizio Arts Festival
4. Renewing our call for a Benitian Vicere who will be active in provincial life.

Lüc Ianescu Braneusefiglhëu da Schir's declared platform is:

1. Benito needs more activities to keep citizens love their province. Restoring the Lorentzio Arts Festival, that should possibly be held more frequently. A prize to the best work presented during the festival.
2. No provincial name change, except if all the citizens find a reasonable agreement.
3. More coordination between the Senator and the Maestro. Monthly discussions with the Senator about the current Clark.
4. Appointment of a new office, the Benitian Secretary, that will be accountable of keeping updated the Benitian webpage on KoT.net and TalossaWiki. Or else, demanding these duties to the Arvitieir Prima, which should act as a SoS of Benito.
5. A new page on TalossaWiki should serve as Statutory Law of Benito. Releasing a digest with the laws of Benito.
6. A Living Chancellery. Since a Living Cosâ isn't apparently being planned, we should come up with a Living Chancellery via Google Hangout.
7. Update those frickin' maps on KoT.net, that are still showing our cantons as before the new constitution.
8. Provincial elections being conducted by the Arvitieir Prima of the Sovereign Province of Benito, instead of the Chancery: thus working seriously on a reasonable way to keep the turnout high even with this method.

Hmmm. I think Asmourescu is currently in the better position to get previous Benitan law posted, since he was around when it was passed and probably is less likely to miss something, so I'll cast my votes for him for Maestro.

I'll cast the final two votes for myself; it's nice that this time we have all the Chancellors voting on the Maestro, instead of the past term when just me, S:r Perþonest and Vitxalmour did.

The vote at the time of your post, according to published information was 4:3 (The Admiral to Lüc) [4 RUMP : 2 NPW + 1 CSPP]. Was this an error in your calculation, or an error in the published information? If the former, no big deal, happens to us all. If the latter, well, a little bigger.

All righty, well, I think the first order of business is for me to reaffirm S:reu Perponest as the Arviteir Prima for this term. Next up will be a redesign of the provincial website since the old one is kind of dark and a little dated.

I realize there is a contentious debate at the national level about the role of the opposition, and I'm not sure how everyone feels about that at the provincial level. However, I think we need to come together as Benitians to make our province great. And so, I'm eager to invite all chancellors and fellow Benitians to roles in the administration of the province. Since we don't run a VOC for the Chancellery, each chancellor would be entitled to run his or her functional area by his or her own conscience without political interference. Our goal is simply to build.

I'm eager to listen to ideas and help craft whatever legislation will help people realize those ideas. I will be placing a sense of the chancellery in the provincial hopper for consideration. The purpose will be to poll all of you as to whether we should form a convention to rename the province due to the whole Benito business. If it passes, we will form a committee to conduct polls, propose names and get everything done in an orderly fashion. If we absolutely must rename the place, let's do it in an orderly and thoughtful way so that it can be the last renaming we need to do.
