Normally the vote would be called by the prior Maestro. However, we hae no prior Maestro. Our most recent Maestro up and renounced without appointing a successor and did so after the Lc had been dissolved. So, any Chancellor had equal authority to call the vote and I thank you for doing so.

We have a number of things that need doing this term. For starters, I want to redo our website and make it jive with the KoT website.

Did you guys know we hae laws on the books? Most people do not. Once the new website is developed, we will post those laws for easy reference.

Let's also pass new laws. Let's get some things done and have some fun.

I think the agenda of this Cosa will be dominated by the law on the provincial name change, though I don't think it is so urgent. And a bill about that radical idea of EMV. By the way, does anyone know if the name change act must be endorsed and passed by the Ziu, after our possible approval?

Well, Chancellor Perþonest, please don't count it as official, but I would like to propose myself.

Of course, I will make it official only if I think there aren't other serious or endorsable candidates.
(I personally see two of them, but only one is currently politically unemployed).

I find it sad that we find ourselves in this position again, but much like the last, far too recent, time, we find ourselves with a particular personage providing a semblance of direction and order to the proceedings. I speak, of course, of Istefan Perþonest, the man with the metaphorical gavel. I would be honoured to put his name forth for consideration for the the unfortunately vacant position of Maestro. He's shown an ability and willingness to lead us in unofficial capacity, let us give him the chance to do it in an official capacity.

All right, it's been a full week since I opened the floor to nominations, and we have two. So I'm going to call a vote. Your candidates for Maestro are:

Voting will be open for, say, seven days? At which point whichever has the most votes wins. Though we'll call it early if either candidate manages a mathematical majority of cast votes by then, because, duh.
