Let us not forget that if it were not for King Robert I, there would be no Kingdom of Talossa. ... you've never had any direct dealings with him, have you? And I really don't understand where you get this "dual citizens will exploit us and steal all our stuff and run for it" from. Exactly what could they take, why would they want to take it, and is this not just a fantasy you made up?

Let us not forget that if it were not for King Robert I, there would be no Kingdom of Talossa. ... you've never had any direct dealings with him, have you? LOL. True, he didn't. Yet Dien was actually supporting your side of the argument, admitting that Ben, at least from 1979 until some later year, was a micronationalist and where would we be today without at least that one? (But it's even more scary to think where we would be today with him!) Actually, it has happened. Our Organic Law and our statutory laws have been lifted and copied elsewhere, changed only in the name of the nation (sometimes not even uniformly), our forum formats blatantly copied, etc., etc., by various micronations (Lyonnesse, Thrace, Astrumia, and Amokolia are four that spring to mind), all after their founders or members joined Talossa and then — what do you know? — turned out to be involved in these other projects. They got a feel for how Talossa works and how it has succeeded lo these many decades, and voila! Talossas in microcosm but acting in ways Talossa never would. I imagine (but am not about to check) that all of these have gone the way of the winds by now, as micronations usually do (thus, I argue, through their blatant plagiarism, giving Talossa a bad name). But the point is that we do open ourselves up to cheapening through counterfeiting when micronationalists have been Talossan. Hool

Encouraging enterprise (which is a key plank of the CSPP moving into this election) could lower the risk of fly-by-night constitution thieves coming to maraud our Nation. Talossans need to know that Wittenberg is not Talossa. Talossans should be encouraged to set up communities within communities. Establish their own websites and forums for in particular niches. The CUG is a fine example of this (although I think their specialist message board should be self hosted on their own CUG site so we can begin the transition away from Proboards).
There should be a governmental agency helping in this area. The CSPP will establish governmental support to Talossans wishing assistance in areas such as web site development, advertising, marketing and any other of the numerous teething problems that might arise for a 'start-up Talossan Venture'.
This would help eliminate the itch to go off and start new micronations.

Thieves? Exactly how is other micronations copying Talossa a bad thing? We don't lose anything, and other micronations get better. If the issue is not getting credit, I can understand, but that's utterly unrelated to questions of citizenship.
One way about it would be to make citizenship in Talossa more of an effort to get.

The RUMP's winner not the turtle; it is the tortoise ( el narec'hnar in Talossan). The party models itself on the conservative champion in the fable of The Tortoise and the Hare ("slow and steady wins the race"). Hool Oh! I thought that the turtle and the tortoise were the same animal! (instead, in Italian, "Turtle" is "testuggine", and "tortoise" is "tartaruga") Never mind. There are so many things to learn about English!

Oh! I thought that the turtle and the tortoise were the same animal! There's been a lot of variation as to the exact contours of the categories "tortoise" and "turtle" (and "terrapin") in English, depending on who (layman or professional biologist), where (US vs. Britain vs. Australia), and when (there's been definite variance over the last 400 years) the words are being used. The result is that native speakers often enough wind up miscommunicating what they mean. In general, if you use tortoise to mean one that has feet and turtle to mean one that has flippers, you'll be reasonably-well understood.

The ZRT tends to be pompous in our rhetoric, this much is very true. It is my hope that our progressive friends do not take too much exception to it, but we of the ZRT really do like our overheated rhetoric.
Being in government is, of course, not more important than our ability to realize our platform of electoral and other reforms. However, without achieving a majority (or being able to form a coalition that does such) we fear that we will be unable to enact those policies.
We as a nation have much to offer the micronational community. We were one of the founders of the LOSS and served as the inspiration for numerous imitative entities. And when those bathtub nations founder, who might they look to to fulfill that need? An open, dynamic, and exciting nation called Talossa! Actually, when I was PM of the Republic, my government tried something similar to the CSPP's suggested agency (we specifically made it a task for the Distain as "Commissioner for National Development) but it never quite got off the ground. It would be interesting to see if our reunited nation, led by a strong progressive coalition, might be able to succeed!

Ah, "Cornboy" certainly takes me back. Who here remembers Matt "Cheeseboy" Dabrowski? I do. He was the Talossan delegate to the League of Secessionist States for a number of years when I was there representing Amador. He had a number of strange ideas, and tried getting himself elected Secretary General more times than I can recall. An interesting figure from before the Semi-permeable wall. Didn't he eventually wander off into other micronations?

The RUMP doesn't support the double citizenship. So I won't vote RUMP. Simply, isn't it?

Another Question for the RUMP:
As the ZRT spokesman for culture, I notice and applaud the RUMP's desire to try and jumpstart Talossan activity within the GTA. This is, of course, laudable. But what are the RUMP's plans, if any, for connecting those diasporic (Cybercit) Talossans to our cultural homeland in and around Milwaukee?
