Not sure. I don't see a great deal of benefit to be honest. Plus, I would need to double check to be sure on this, but I think it might just edge into breaching the Freedom of information and Privacy Act. Also, as I understand things, www.kingdomoftalossa.net is an official domain of the Royal House/Government while Wittenberg is not. Wittenberg is a privately operated concern and I'm not sure about 'linking up' the official to the unofficial - especially when we are currently looking at ways to remove unnecessary guff from the main website (the language pages for example). (and it might lead to our Google rank for the main website dropping a few points if we leak a load of PageRank out to Proboards.com) Edit: I better explain that a little bit better. Part of the Google ranking algorithm (software/program) ranks a website based on how many links it receives from outside sources. If you link to a site you leak a little bit of your rank to theirs and vice-versa - which is OK if you are both linking to each other (reciprocal links). However, a quick look at Proboards source code shows that all outbound links have a tag "rel=nofollow". This is proboards telling the Google spider to IGNORE this outbound link please and dont leak my rank to it. So, by linking kingdomof talossa.net to proboards.com over 100 times for each citizen, we would lose a lot of rank without receiving any in return. ) Just my thoughts.

Well, first of all, I definitely wish that every citizen would avail themselves of the chance -- free for anyone and everyone -- to create their own personal page on KingdomOfTalossa.net. Sadly, all too few of us citizens have done so. Such pages, of course, are what the links from the citizenship page currently (and are meant to) go to.
As for linking to the proboards profile of a citizen when he or she has NOT set up a page on KingdomOfTalossa.net, it is not a bad idea, though Éovart brings up some good points, especially as regards the mingling of the official Website of His Majesty's House and Government with a private concern (Wittenberg). As for leaking page rank, though, if we want to go ahead and go this way, I suppose we could simply employ "rel=nofollow" also, to prevent the leakage you brought up?
Another option, of course, is to have KOT.net "know" to link to a dynamically-created page on its own domain that would at least provide what contact information (perhaps Facebook page, GoogleTalk id, skype id, other things?) that are recorded for a citizen on the citizenship roll (that said, we currently don't have all of this recorded there).

what the heck is a ''poobah''? The term poobah was once jokingly used to refer to the head of the GTZT.

Perhaps it could be a idea that when a prospective citizen is granted citizenship (which we all know is the best thing money can't buy!), s/he is issued automatically with a username & password for the website to create his/her own page rather than having to request one. Additionally, when this username/password is issued the GTZT (or whoever updates the citizenship roll) should create a page for the new citizen and in this page the new citizen's immigration essay should be copied too. The new citizen will then have a KoT citizenship page, username & password, which s/he can edit as s/he feels fit or leave it with just their immigration essay, if they lack the skills needed to write a webpage!

Not to sound like a repetitive pain or anything, but that was actually a feature in that concept site I built a while back, (the one you all hated)

I for one most certainly did not hate the site! As far as I'm aware, nobody hated it. I was joking. But, yeah, some kind of extended citizen profile like Litz suggests would be good. Have the essay on there, options for the citizen to display such as likes, dislikes and Talossan stuff. Obviously, contact details are optional for privacy reasons.

what the heck is a ''poobah''? I think, Simeon, according to "The Mikado" Poo Bah is The Lord High Everything Else (in that case, everything else other than The Lord High Executioner).
