In the great tradition of many parliamentary and legislative bodies across the globe, I shall, from Thursday January 27 through Sunday January 30th be on a factfinding tour -- in this case to the capital of the country that surrounds our realm. I speak of course about the United States of America, and it's seat of government in Washington, District of Columbia. I hope to have the opportunity to research the links to the Berbers in the great museum of the Smithsonian, to ascend the monument dedicated to the namesake of the city, and to otherwise putter about. I apologize in advance for any lack of communication within these chambers or in conjunction with the general threads of discussion within the Kingdom during or immediately before or after said travels.
One thought that I did have upon the dawning of this journey, in consideration of the Library of Congress of the country I am visiting so recently infested with raptors, is towards the security and archival of all our discussions within these fine pages provided via the auspices of Proboards. Can anyone advise me as to the ability for us to obtain a compendium of the discussions that have been related here over these many years so that we can have a backup of the contents to be kept safe from the potential ravages of software wyrms and pirates?
As many of the early documents of the Kingdom (some of which were offered at one point by the first King and then withdrawn) which may only exist on paper or images of same, there may only exist certain places where the efforts of La Scriuerïa d'Abbavilla, La Cudëscherïa del Colêtx d'Armeux and the work of artists and authors from the Kingdom may be found. Whereas with modern technology it would seem appropriate that every citizen upon request should be issued an extract of prioritized available knowledge of the realm (at various revision dates henceforth) which could be reasonably placed within the 4.7 gigabyte storage capacity of a digital video/versatile disc for the purposes of education, research, and to preserve the great body of work of our common efforts against any unforeseen pestilence of the internet tube mechanisms by diversification of storage location, and also to make a fine gift upon welcoming new citizens, who in turn will contribute new insights and marks upon this great ledger.
