The Senator from the supreme Province of Atatürk strolls into the Chamber. Alas, he has no champagne for a mimosa, so he settles for Kegs and Eggs. He grabs a drink and heads over to the podium.
Happy New Year and good morning, my fellow Senators and Talossans! Welcome to our new member T.M. Asmourescu. I hope you BYO cause the Chamber is self-stocked, but we do trade.
Also welcome to a Clark that has some business. It may not be as important as last month, but there is stuff to do nevertheless.
On the matter of 41RZ8 (we're only on the 8th bill this Cosa?!?), I vote PËR! Darn tootin' we can!
On the matter of 41RZ9, I vote CONTRÂ. The short answer is we should not legislate and codify a fluid policy decision.
On the matter of 41RZ10, I vote CONTRÂ. Not everything is a fundamental right. Some things are privileges. Also don't forget that this is a non-issue at the moment.
On the matter of 41RZ11, I am deeply convicted and conflicted. This is a terrible idea and the guy that submitted this needs to be congratulated while he is severely reprimanded. On the one hand, this needs to be voted down immediately! On the other hand, it would be neat to try and slip one by the King and get him to exercise that veto power. Plus, it would guarantee we have something to work on next Clark, a good thing considering that we've only had 12 pieces of business so far. Oh, the agony of making a decision. I guess I vote CONTRÂ. No, wait, PËR! Ah, CONTRÂ! No! No, I vote PËR!
On the matter of 41RZ12, I vote CONTRÂ. While I do like the changes that the author made in the bill, I still feel that if people are so deprived of a nation building hobby then they should get (more) involved in their own country. There is plenty of work to be done around here.
Long live the King!
The Senator from the dominate province of Atatürk finishes his drink and continues to plan his fun for the weekend.

# 41RZ8: The Nothing is Impossible for a Talossan Act - PER
# 41RZ9: The Talossan Neutrality Amendment - PER
# 41RZ10: The Right to Equal Education Amendment - AUS
# 41RZ11: The Diet Coke of Provinces: Pengöpäts Amendment - CONTRA
# 41RZ12: The Micronational Reform Act - PER. At issue is not whether people are "so deprived" of a hobby, but that there is a federal law prohibiting a personal hobby in the first place. Failing to change the current law puts Ben and his autocracy on a high pedestal and spits in the face of democracy and liberty.
::The Senator from Benito casts his ballot and buys a round for his fellow Senators as just because they may disagree on certain political matters he still thinks they are a cool bunch of guys. Though he refuses to buy Senator Holmes a mimosa because that is his grandmother's drink of choice. Not that the Senator from Benito is implying anything. Just sort of mentioning it is all. Ahh heck why am I still typing? Someone make me stop. Ooh a penny!::

The Senator from Florencia rises to the lectern and raises a glass of Florencian Red 1996 (growing season was so short only enough grapes were made in Florencia for two bottles that year!)
41RZ8: The Nothing is Impossible for a Talossan Act I vote PER I have to tell you though, "the Cake is a lie."
41RZ9: The Talossan Neutrality Amendment I vote CONTRA Some things are worth taking a stand on. As we face the eventual Islamic take over of Talossa we has better be ready to stand and fight for our honor and opinions, etc etc etc.
41RZ10: The Right to Equal Education Amendment I vote CONTRA I think the people should retain their rights to refuse education and remain ignorant of somethings. I for one wish I had never known about Fox News as now I am addicted to that channel.
41RZ11: The Diet Coke of Provinces: Pengöpäts Amendment I Vote Per Why You ask? Because I like Diet Coke.
41RZ12: The Micronational Reform Act I vote CONTRA CONTRA CONTRA smash the bugs don't encourage them!
I am back from the busy summer months to raise a ruckus and openly mock the ineffective opposition as the RUMP continues to gain momentum. Ah the fall leaves turn in Florencia a brilliant red and fiery orange and yellow hues make me long for the site of our nation's flag blowing in the fall winds over Florencia.

The gentleman from the even more Supreme and Holy Province of Vuode comes to the Senate floor. In one hand he has a pile of paperwork, in the other a flask. Of course, the drinking of alcohol is not uncommon in this chamber and is, in fact, encouraged. He takes a deep breath in between hiccups and murmurs something about Talossa being the reason he drinks. He takes another swig of his flask, makes an odd face, and begins to speak.
My fellow Senators of the great nation of Talossa. I, the ever loyal and humble, Senator from the Most Holy Supreme Province of Vuode would like to welcome our newest member to the chamber. I would like to point out that even though this chamber causes us all to drink, excessively, our health care does not cover Rehab for obvious reasons. But welcome! Anywho, my votes on the much important matters at hand are below. I do not believe we should be redefining the definition of who gets to eat cake because some radical minority wants to eat cake. ONLY French Peasantry, as decreed by Maria Antoinette, is entitled to this privileged. Eating cake is not a right and this government has no right to redefine what is a centuries old understanding. Also, it's in the bible. Thank you! the Senator from Vuode stumbles back to his desk where he promptly passes out...
41RZ8: [glow=red,2,300]Contra[/glow]-- Because cake is only meant to be enjoyed by the French peasantry. Being as we are not French peasantry, I do not believe Madam Antoinette would support us eating cake. We should not be redefining cake!
41RZ12: [glow=red,2,300]Contra[/glow]-- Many nations around the world restrict the ability to hold multiple citizenships. Many nations around the world also restrict the ability to be involved in certain clubs. I think the law shall remain. I've yet to hear convincing arguments otherwise. 41RZ9: [glow=red,2,300]Contra[/glow]-- Talossa needs to arm itself against Christian extremist. 41RZ10: PER-- It makes sense. 41RZ11: PER -- I believe it should be a province. My position has been consistent since becoming a Talossan four years ago.

One of the most rare guests maybe, from the Cezembre Province known to be the most Supreme by the way, the Senator of the Sovereign Cezembre Province enters quietly in the Senate floor. He looks delighted to make a short speech to good noble people. He rises, looks around, drinks some of the juice he took with him and speaks.
Well, I'm glad to say Azul. I have to welcome our newest member, as everyone already did. I also have to point myself as a nearly newest, because by some case, being elected in July, I made only a shortest look over the july's clark, didn't vote at all in August and only voted Present in September. Therefore (my shame) it's first time I have read the acts being proposed attentively, and now, my friends, I'm ready to make my piece of Talossan senatorship at least in the end of my serving term.
I shall vote as following.
41RZ8: The Nothing Is Impossible for a Talossan Act I vote PER.
41RZ12: The Micronational Reform Act I vote PER. I don't find anything dangerous in accepting this, even more, I find it useful. That's my opinion.
41RZ9: The Talossan Neutrality Amendment I vote AUSTANEU. It made me difficult to make my clear decision on this act.
41RZ10: The Right to Equal Education Amendment I vote PER.
41RZ11: The Diet Coke of Provinces: Pengöpäts Amendment Uhm well, that act made me feel confused. Disregarding the style in which it is written, I just shall notice: i have mixed feelings towards our Antarctic territory claimed. I could be happy to see it becoming a true Province, but my other part cries there are already too much provinces. Actually, there could be enough to have 3 or 4. Therefore, I dont see any need to add one more. It means, I vote CONTRA.
Thank you. Wish you have a nice day.
Senator passes away.

After a period of consultation with the citizens of Talossa's most resplendent province (yes, I refer to Maritiimi-Maxhestic of course) I vote as follows:
On 41RZ8: The Nothing is Impossible for a Talossan Act I vote AUS. While I am fervent fan of cake (both having it and eating it) it worries me that the idea that "nothing is impossible for a Talossan" is a jaunt into jingoism. We are a proud but also humble people and suspect that we need not pass legislation that engages in senseless back-patting. But as I said I am a fan of confections of all kinds so I find it hard to vote against it as well. Now that I have written so much about cake I have a hankering for burnt sugar cake.
On 41RZ9: The Talossan Neutrality Amendment I vote CONTRA. My worry here is that it would indeed limit the ability for our government to respond in a nuanced and sophisticated way to delicate circumstances surrounding potentially grave situations in future. I think that our current Government and any future administration should have the ability to determine our stance on a case-by-case basis and that the intent of this bill could be achieved by an active and informed citizenry, competent ministerial advisors and sober leadership generally.
On 41RZ10: The Right to Equal Education Amendment I vote PER. I support the right to not only equal access to education but to an adequate education that allows all of Talossa's citizens the ability to compete in a world that is more interdependent and interconnected than ever before. I am sure that every Talossan understands personally the connection between equal access to educational opportunities and a subsequent ability to be socially mobile.
On 41RZ11: The Diet Coke of Provinces: Pengöpäts Amendment I vote CONTRA. I fully support granting Pengöpäts the status of province but am not supportive of it being governed by the administration of one political party. Should this be of interest to anyone I would like to suggest the addition of language in the OrgLaw that calls for regular review (within a period of no more than every 10 Cosas) of the status of Pengöpäts.
On 41RZ12: The Micronational Reform Act I vote PER. I am opposed to the prohibition concerning participation in micronations as I believe it to be a diminution of Talossan freedom. Further I think that it is already the case that each Talossan is also a citizen of another nation. We can not forget that we would not even be Talossans if other nations had the same policy that we seek to continue to enforce on our own population.
