Per our shiny new constitution, here is how the 20 seats in the House of Commons are allocated for the 41st Cosa.
This G.E. saw 14 votes in Atatürk. RUMP got the nod 8 times, the PP party 6 times. 8/14 = 57.14% 6/14 = 42.86%
20 * .5714 = 11.43 20 * .4286 = 8.57
Rounding we get: RUMP holds 11 seats PP party holds 9 seats
I currently hold all RUMP seats but I'm eager to share!
First order of business is to elect a Başbakan. Nominations as well as forming an agenda will begin when the 41st Cosa is seated on their RUMPs.
God save the King!

At present, most excellent S:r Holmes, you ARE the 41st Cosa of This Most Wondrous Province. Perhaps you should nominate yourself tout de suite.

The leader of the PPT has given me the task of assigning the party's 9 seats. I will be contacting prospectives and putting together the assignments, with intent to post here no later than Monday, May 10th, 2010.

I have removed myself from the PPT, and as such, voluntarily surrender the seats assigned to me by the party in this Assembly.

Sorry fellas, I was out of town last week. Let's get to business! Based on the above events in this thread, this is how I see the composition of the House. PP Party: 9 seats, all held (until further notified) by S:reu Ursüm. RUMP: 11 seats. 6 held by me, Brad Holmes 5 held by S:reu Forestal, if he would like them As noted above, the first order of business is to elect a Başbakan. I will kick off nominations by throwing S:reu Forestal in front of this bus. How about this: nominations are open until 2359 TDT on Tuesday 15 June followed immediately by an election closing at 2359 TDT on Wednesday 30 June? Of course, if we do things faster, I'm OK with that too. Not to steal any thunder from the incoming Başbakan, but what should the legislative agenda of the House be? If you have a nagging Provincial issue, please bring them up!

Thank you for you nomination, S:r Holmes. I accept the nomination.
I respectfully decline your gracious offer of RUMP seats.
I'll give some thought to the Provincial agenda.

Member Holmes: Well, we need to catch up with the other provinces with regard to provincial foods. Simit or ayran, anyone? ;D Member Forestal: If you want to sit as an independent, precedent in the Cosâ shows that you don't have to be in a party to take seats won by that party. You're free to reclaim your seats, if you like.

In reviewing the Constitution, I am reminded that the Başbakan is an elected member of the House of Commons, which means I guess I must accept a seat or two, eh? If some are still available, I will be grateful for them.

Fellow Assembly members and Atatürkeys,
As the Başbakan nomination period draws to a close and an election comes into view, I'd like to take a moment to discuss your options in selecting a Başbakan for your Provincial leadership needs. I'd like to talk to you about evil.
My opponents will tell you they can fly and shoot lasers from their eyes, and that they will use these powers only for good, and never for evil.
I ask you -- can we trust them with such powers? Can we be sure the office of Başbakan will not sway them to become corrupt, and to use their powers in ways that at first seem merely annoying, but eventually evolve into true corruption? Can we be sure that evil will not seep into their souls?
Friends, I have no such powers. I am a weak man, and am prone to sleepiness. Even if the office of Başbakan affords me with sinister opportunities, you can rest assured that I am simply too lazy to take advantage of such things.
I am, my dear friends, too lazy to be evil. And that is why you should vote for me.

I see. No, no ... it's okay. I realize the "I'm too lazy to be evil" argument fell short. I can hear the discomfort in your voice. You're right -- I'm proven myself to be capable of the awesome. There are documented cases of my supremacy in many things. And that worries you -- I don't hold that against you.
So I offer another argument in favor of my candidacy as Başbakan: I love you. Yes, you, specifically YOU.
Don't shun my love.

Sweet. The nomination period is now closed, we have one nominee.
We would now move into an election, but is that even necessary in this case?
I don't think so, so I'm cool with just congratulating S:reu Forestal on his sweeping candidacy and election.
All in favor?
