My fellow citizens,
I'd like to thank all who have cast votes in my name and all those who participated in this election.
I did not put my name in knowing what the outcome would be and up until the final minutes of the election I still didn't know. My opponent had emailed me privately about a course of action if there were to be a tie. Luckily, we don't have to risk not having Vuode represented in the Senate until we could settle a tie.
That having been said, there isn't a clear mandate from the people and while I do hold a majority, my opponent holds a sizable minority. This isn't a time for us to shut each other out.
I'm not privy (understandably so) to the inner workers of the PPT party but would like to invite Dreu to be a sought of liaison to work with me on issues of the Senate. There is no reason why the RUMP and PPT within Vuode cannot work together and for all citizens to be fully represented to the best of my ability.
Furthermore, all citizens may contact me personally at any time, as is their right, with concerns about why or how I'm voting or how or why I intend to vote.
I look forward to working with the province to represent Vuode.

Dear Senator, Congratulations on your victory. That having been said, there isn't a clear mandate from the people and while I do hold a majority... Sreu - you won. That is a mandate. I look forward to working with the province to represent Vuode. Best of luck! T

Thank you Sir T.
I will say I am disheartened by the lack of interest in my calls for multipartisian ship in our province. Is this only lip-service? Or is there truly a need to get something done?
