The PP Senatorial Caucus

Fellow citizens,

The PP, in choosing a suitable candidate for Senate, would like to involve all residents of Benito to help us to narrow down the pool of applicants.

So far, two nominations have been submitted. To select the PP endorsed candidate, you may post your vote within this thread.

Please note that your vote here will only affect the individual's support from the PP, and will not result in anyone being elected to the Senate until you vote in the General Election.

Venerable Chancellor Flip Molinar - The former Foreign Minister and current Judge of the Benitian High Court and Chancellor of the Legislative Chancellery, Chancellor Molinar petitions the Progressive Party for sponsorship to claim the Senate seat of the Sovereign Province of Benito in the next General Election.

Maestro Tim Asmourescu - The former Minister of Defence and current Maestro of the Sovereign Province of Benito and a Chancellor of the Legislative Chancellery, Maestro Asmourescu petitions the Progressive Part for sponsorship to claim the Senate seat of the Sovereign Province of Benito in the next General Election.

Candidates, you may make one post in this thread as a "brag sheet" to share any information you like with your constituents. Please restrict your comments to that one post, answering follow-up questions through Private Messages or, if need be, in a new thread.

As we have all entered the New Year, I would like to thank everyone who is not running for this caucus (Niclau Börnat) who voted. I would also like to say that I am overjoyed to be running on the behalf of the Progressive Party. I will outline a (somewhat) detailed agenda later this month as we near the upcoming General Election. Thank you also to Captain Tim for running in this caucus. I congratulate him on a race (kinda) well run.

Two Thoughts:

Considering only three people voted (two were the candidates themselves), maybe it would only be fair to do a revote and seriously try to get as many citizens as possible to vote.

Second, it might be worth both of you running anyway, considering you two seem to be the only viable candidates (considering even if Nic ran, she would lose if either one of you got even one vote).

Despite the fact that the caucus took place during my absence, as a member of the Progressive Party, I'd like to put in my lot with T.M. Asmourescu. Consider it an endorsement, if nothing else.
