Chancellors,
We will begin the legislative session early to allow new members to be assigned by their respective parties and permit former members ample time to gather their belongings. Upon receiving your appointment (or reappointment as the case may be), I urge you to come here and vote on these important matters that stand before the Chancellery.
1. Election of the Maestro. I will throw my hat in the ring first, seeking a second term as Maestro. Under my administration, Benito was granted a Constitution and a court system was established, I hope to continue this work for our province.
Any other nominees? Cast your vote in this thread.
2. We shall vote on 40RES01 - A Vote of "No Confidence" in our current Senator. While not binding in any way, we will send a message to Senator Casalmach that we do not support her continued slight of the Benitian people and while she may hold the office, we do not consider her to represent us. Please vote PER or CONTRA
3. We shall vote on the nomination of Chancellor Flip Molinar to the High Court. Please vote PER or CONTRA.
The Provincial Chancellery for the Sovereign Province of Benito is now open for the purposes of conducting what business may lawfully be brought before it. Chancellors, take due notice thereof that you may govern yourselves accordingly.
The session shall remain open until 11:59 pm August 8th of the 2009th year of the Common Era.
On behalf of the people of Benito; Maestro T.M. Asmourescu

S:reu Altavilla, have you been allotted Chancellery seats by the RUMP? No one has officially assigned any seats to you thus far, rendering your vote invalid for the time being.

No, you don't. There was one recorded vote for the FGP in the General Election, which gave the FGP one seat. If you look at the seat allocations, Flip assigned that seat to himself. The RUMP has yet to assign their seats, I encourage you to ask Hooligan if you can have some of those, if he grants you some seats, I will record your vote. No, you don't. Current results show unanimous support of the no-confidence measure against Senator Casalmach, the nomination of Flip to the High Court and my continued service as Maestro.
Just a reminder that polls will close on August 8, those who have cast their votes may change them up until that time, and the RUMP will have until then to assign their seats and have their representative(s) cast their votes.
Because over half of the votes have been cast in favor of Flip's appointment, let me be the first to congratulate Judge-designate Flip Molinar on his ascension to the highest Judicial Office in the Province!

Our Constitution limits the number of Chancellery seats to be held by a member of the High Court to 1. Flip, having only one seat, is in compliance with this statute. Barring any changes in voting, Flip will be sworn in some time after the close of this session.

This session of the Provincial Chancellery is hereby concluded. I want to thank the honorable Chancellors for their participation in these proceedings.
The notice of no-confidence, being a legislative measure and not a proposal for law is hereby passed and requires no further signature.
Judge-designate Flip Molinar's nomination to the bench is hereby approved, it is my order that he be sworn in forthwith.
A reminder, as our noble Vicere Owen Edwards has renounced his citizenship, his office shall remain vacant until such time as the King appoints a successor. Prior to this session, I issued a legislative proclamation, counter-signed by then-Vicere Edwards, authorising us to forward all legislation requiring royal approval directly to the King, should any measure go unsigned at the end of the month, it will be considered as if it were signed, much like the current system for measures of the Ziu.
