Whilst this resolution has little to do with me - it's not "legally" binding in the strict sense so I don't need to pass it - I do believe that a province has the right to do this. It may not affect the Organic status of the Senator, but certainly it counts as a vote of no confidence.

Precisely, and I thank Vicere Edwards for the call to clarify.
This measure will be non-binding beyond the Provincial level and functions as a vote of no confidence.
It will strictly be a resolution of the Legislative Chancellery and will pass with a simple majority.

I agree with this resolution and express my discontent at the lack of activity amongst province members.

An Act to Fix the High Court of Benito
WHEREAS Section 5 of the Benitian High Court act states "No person shall hold the office of Judge in the Benitian High Court or in any inferior court established by the Provincial Chancellery while simultaneously holding the office of Vicere, Senator or Maestro, nor shall a seated Judge hold any more than one seat in the Chancellery."
WHEREAS A Judge is a member of the Judicial branch and a Chancellor is a member of the Legislative Branch
WHERAS a member of one branch simotaniously holding a position in another creates a conflict of interest.
THEREFORE section 5 of the Benition High Court Act is amended to read as follows:
"No person shall hold the office of Judge in the Benitian High Court or in any inferior court established by the Provincial Chancellery while simultaneously holding the office of Vicere, Senator or Maestro, nor shall a seated Judge hold any seats in the Chancellery."
