Dude, am I reading this wrong or are you telling us to vote for the party you are heading even though you cast your vote for another party?

Yes you read correctly - I did not at the time believe I would have the time to run the DPD, so as a citizen I did my civic duty and voted. Only now did I find out that I have extra time on my hands to more effectively handle party affairs. Kind regards, Tony WeckströmAmbassador to Finland Am I reading the election results incorrectly or did Tony Weckstrom vote for the GRUMP?

I didn't realize the DPD took that much effort... guess I was wrong. I can't imagine it will this term, even the party leader voted for another party. I will be mystified if anyone else casts their vote for the DPD.

I understand you have the legal right to request write-in ballots. I understand and respect your right. I will however say that it is somewhat in poor taste to vote for another party (in your case, GRUMP) and then ask people to place their trust in the DPD and in you when you cast your ballot for another party. Also, I'd point out that your comment "Vote for Tony Weckstrom" seems to indicate you favor a system of direct elections which is simply not how we do things. I cast my vote for RUMP, not for the noble (and most capable) Baron who leads it, others cast their vote for the PP, not for Ministreu Owens and still others cast their vote for the CCCP, not Ministreu Asmour. Had you voted for the DPD, I'd say you could count on at least a few seats in the Cosa for yourself. As it stands, the only way you will receive such seats is if someone votes for the DPD or the GRUMP is foolish enough to give seats to someone who, I would say is likely to take them and leave the party so he could simply be a "party of one." Now, I realize all of this is well within your legal rights. But understand, you posted a request for votes during election time and now it is subject to public scrutiny. Best of luck in the election.

Welcome back to the fray, Tony and the DPD! We're happy to have your hat in the ring again! To me, the way you re-entered the DPD into the election seems to be about the most Talossan way there is! Truly well done, in a very Talossan way!!

To me, the way you re-entered the DPD into the election seems to be about the most Talossan way there is! Hear, hear. Just as Talossan (but exactly the opposite) as S:reu Laira, who started his own party (the GRUMP) a couple months ago, got two people to vote for it, and went ahead and voted RUMP himself).
