Secondly, I'd like to make a suggestion regarding the functioning of the Corporative Chamber. While the Witt is naturally the most obvious place to hold discussions regarding the province, as Capt. Preston's numerous attempts in the Election thread have shown ( ;D), it is very easy for discussions in a thread to get sidetracked and off task, and difficult to remain on task. Might I suggest that we form "live" meetings for assemblies and debates, perhaps through media such as A.I.M., Chatango, or Skype? That way discussions of the Corporative Chamber are less likely to get off track, and it is easier to remain at the task at hand.

Very good idea. I think a hump we may have to get around is there are very few super-active citizens in our province. I think we should first take steps to emailing the first draft of the constitution to them (with a list of proposed name changes) so they can read that and finally vote and get the name changed. For now, let's act as if the constitution drafted is in full effect, so we need a vote of 51% to change the name once and for all. After this is accomplished, and emails are recieved back concerning each member's views on the constitution, changes should be made and draft two sent out.

With each draft, we should try attaching a symbolism thing (name, flag, seals, etc.) so we can get more done at once.

Once the constitution is passed, let's vote for a premier and (as this seems to have been decided earlier) contact S:da deWinter on her duties as Cunstaval.

I think the creation of a sub forum would certainly be nice, but perhaps unnessicary. We would want people in our province to see what's going on behind the scenes in the CC rather than keeping it all a secret.

I do think the CC thread and the Provincial Hopper thread should be pinned if an administrator could do that please.

While I know official voting does has not begun, I'd just like to take the time to confirm S:reu Vürinalt's statements that I voted Üc to all bills. Due to schoolwork, my readings of Talossan law and history (finished the Organic Law and Statutory Law, now workin' on Ar Pats), and a (recently) hectic personal life, I've been unable to be present in conversation as much as I'd like to be.

Just an info update- I have contacted Capt. T.M. Asmourescu via email five days ago and, should he not vote by friday, a vote of absence will be placed for him and his seat removed from the total number of seats needed to pass the bills.

Capt. T.M. Asmourescu has been voted as absent according to La Constituziun dal Provinçù Article III, Section Two, Part i:
"vii. Voting on Proposed Bills and Amendments: The Duceu dal Cámera shall place the first vote on the finalized bill after the final bill has been drafted. All other members of the Corporative Chamber shall then vote on this final form after the vote from the Duceu has been placed. Voting ends after all members have voted, have announced they choose not to, or after 14 days after being presented. No penalties are ensued for not voting, the member's vote is simply deducted from the amount needed to pass the bill. Bills pass with a majority vote of 51% Üc, amendments pass with a vote of 90% Üc. After the bill or amendment passes it is presented to the Maestro by the Duceu.
