Seems like the only thing I hear about this province (of which I am proud to be the newest resident of) is changing the name.... and nothing else! The Mussolini page of the official Talossan website is (seemingly) the smallest, and while all the other provinces have official songs, sandwiches, animals, etc, we have nothing! I don't know about the other members of this province, but I say it's about time we start focusing on other aspects of our province besides the name... (speaking of the name, I heard it was going to be switched to "Benito"... I guess we didn't quite go through with that, huh?)
Additionally, I'd just like to say that the Mussolinian flag is about the second or third coolest flag I've ever seen. ;D ;D ;D

Well, it's possibly because your province is the smallest. Personally, I think we should just stick all the active citizens in Vuode, so that we'd have at least one active province...which would conviniently be mine... ;D

What is the story with the CC? and since Dewinter is only reachable by email, would it be possible to elect a new Destain after the current elections have taken place.

What is the story with the CC? and since Dewinter is only reachable by email, would it be possible to elect a new Destain after the current elections have taken place. Well, I don't think anybody exactly knows what happened with the CC. I think the representatives got hit off by the Mafia. However, this will hopefully change with the up coming election! We hope to get it's act back together and become an example of a working provincial government for other provinces to copy. We're also going to have one of the most diverse provincial assemblies in the entire nation since every political party except the CRO and DOTT is represented in our assembly. As for the Maestro, I have no idea. We should try to elect a new one in one of the opening days of the CC. We should also try to get a new Cunstavál appointed to supplement this. Of course, since Dewinter is active via email, we should try to email her regularly with updates on provincial activity.

We're also going to have one of the most diverse provincial assemblies in the entire nation since every political party except the CRO and DOTT is represented in our assembly. I just thought I should point out the D.O.T.T. announced it is not participating in this election, thus it ceases to be a party for the 38th Cosa. Of course, since Dewinter is active via email, we should try to email her regularly with updates on provincial activity. Quick question..... is Dewinter only active through e-mail because (for some reason) she cannot reach the Wittenberg (which is understandable), or simply because she is apathetic? If it is the latter, I suggest the election of a new Maestro. Additionally, I also see a problem with the Cunstaval. Dewinter holds both the Cunstaval and Maestro positions, and if she truly is inactive on the Witt for good, it is clear that replacements are necessary for these two positions. However, the Cunstaval is appointed by the King..... how exactly would we go about getting a replacement? However, do keep in mind these are just "what if" scenarios I'm suggesting, as there is always the possibility that Dewinter's absence is due to acceptable reasons. I'm just saying we should have a plan if the worst of possibilities is true, that is, if Dewinter has "given up" Talossa.

Quick question..... is Dewinter only active through e-mail because (for some reason) she cannot reach the Wittenberg (which is understandable), or simply because she is apathetic? If it is the latter, I suggest the election of a new Maestro. Some LRT members may find this hard to believe, but there is no statutory requirement that a citizen be active on Wittenberg after making it through the citizenship process. There is more to citizenship than just having an inflated Witt post count. S:rda DeWinter is an accomplished author, and a world traveler. She's witty, intelligent, and one of the blondest people I know. While you suggest that she might be too dumb to get on Witt, or to apathetic, we might want to consider that the amount of jabbering on this board can be an obstacle to a busy person. Personally, I don't think Dewinter has "given up" on Talossa. Sir T ^~'

Wherefore art thou S:da DeWinter? Mussolini needs her Maestro...on Wittenberg. But what do I know...I am not even a Mussolinian.

Contrary to statements above S:rda Dewinter has not been absent.
If you would all notice, she has voted, and remains in good standing with the Chancery, the Kingdom, and it's citizens.
Please do not argue Facts not in Evidence.

I'm not arguing anything nor is anyone else. I think we all just want to know the status of our province and its governmental representation.

I want to thank the venerable Mickster for his contribution. When was the Maestro's last post on Witt?

And , might I ask- Where in the Org Law is posting on the Wittenburg a requirement for "Activity" ? Please show me the section. In case some of you do not know where it is, here is the Org Law: www.kingdomoftalossa.net/index.cgi?lingo=&page=OrgLawIndexI really suggest some of you take the time to read this. Where in the Statutory Law is posting on the Wittenburg a requirement for "Activity" ? Please show me the Act. In case some of you missed it, the Statutory Law is posted here: www.kingdomoftalossa.net/index.cgi?lingo=&page=StatutesI really suggest everyone take the time to explore this. How many of you have written to S:rda Dewinter, to introduce yourselves, as a member of The Kingdom, and of her Province? I have talked to her many, many times since her last post here. She is not at all inactive. Maybe to those that think the Kingdom revolves around, and is inherent in a Chat Board- this is the end all to be all. Needless to say, I have had many converstations with many people here off the boards. Count Dan and I routinely meet , and discuss Kingdom Affairs. Be very careful how you judge "inactivity", when you do not know of what you speak.

Yes of course, she is inactive on Witt, not an inactive citizen. S:reu Caçeir had mistook what I said because of a misinterpretation, nothing more.
We could keep her as Cunstavál, but I think that a new Maestro should be elected (preferably a Mussolinian who is active on Witt) in order to ensure a smoothly running provincial government.
