Be sure to add El Bravác'ht to your list of bookmarks/favorites. I feel dumb, quoting myself like Ragsdale used to do. Be assured that I will seek out what you have to say! Q

I read that article on El Bravác'ht and I have rectify a mistake.
After reviewing Mr. Moisan's brief, Justices Oplinger and Jahn made their statements. What was submitted was not the brief but simply the indictment. I never got to submit my brief as the Cort ruled there was no ground to charge them.

How--phonetically--do you pronounce the name of this new news publication?
It's hard work--to put out a newspaper regularly--but it really is one of the things that helps draw people in...it helps people make sense of what is going on and provides a forum for recognizing people's contributions.
Talossa needs this, and it needs a few other well-functioning institutions as well.
I hope B News continues...

No, Marc, that is not what I said. My statement was very clear that you did not have grounds for an indictment with what you provided. I cannot accept an indictment based on other arguments you might use, just on what you brought to our attention. Those who have done this did not break the one point of law you outlined, wregardless of what argument you might want to use.
I also stated in my reply that there was an area of law that I thought might work, and suggested you look at it. Perhaps you could do that, and re-issue your indictment.

First, an indictment is not valid under a point of state in any country, Ken. A territory is claimed, and you can't convict them for claiming the same territory. Many nations do claim same territories.
Second, The OrgLaw states: Art. XVIII:Sec. 9. Talossans may voluntarily renounce their own citizenship. This may be done by publicly issuing a written Declaration of Renunciation. It shall take effect twenty-four hours following its acknowledgement by the Secretary of State.
If the renounciation does take effect only 24 hours after the renounciation has been acknowledged, then they would still be citizens when they started their own country which would be a violation of "The dual Citizenships Act". at least, I thought so.
Thirdly, to quote Justice Jahn: These people - who are signatories to the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE - are NO LONGER CITIZENS OF THE KINGDOM OF TALOSSA.
Thus, this Cort has no jurisdiction over them whatsoever.
Who am I to argue with the Cort when they rule that we have no jurisdiction whatsoever over the republicans.
Fourthly, that above ruling quash the indictment and the 7th Covenants prohibits double jeopardy, which means that even if this that ruling was a mistake, we can't charge them anymore.
Fiftly, I did my research, Ken, I did not go lightly on this, and I resign over it, you have a problem with it, talk to the Cort.

Your Talossan is probably as good as mine. I think it is: El Bra-VAKT. But I could be wrong. I called it Ta-LOSS-uh for a long time. Ed: (sorry, hit modify instead of 'reply' )
